Wondering if there’s a significance to the small tube in the shotgun barrel? Pic taken from TV. Is this a common Hollywood prop? Intriguing anyway.
Maybe it’s the new Rossi 22-410 combo 😂
The look on his face says how disappointed he is with this fake gun.

It's likely an airsoft gun. A good portion of the non-firing props used in film and TV production are airsoft or other replicas from Asia. You'll see this especially in lower budget productions, and for use by extras. For close ups they'll generally use a real, converted gun, or a higher end replica.
We had a whole room of replica M4s that were basically an 80% lower, milled up from inside the trigger guard to put a dummy trigger in.

A related note: most manual action guns didn't have any modifications done for "blank firing", unless the filming location required it. NYC and Mexico both required them to be unable to chamber a live round, so shortened blanks and cross-pinned and welded barrels.

    Awesome. Thanks!
    I assumed someone would know.

^^^Well, I guess that explains why he's aiming it point-blank rather than sighting through the lens. But dang, that's a Bender Schmidt, isn't it?

Shotgun looks like a sawed off bbgun or airsoft gun. You can see the jagged barrel metal. That said its a real metal one so its probably still pricey.

I bought the mac 10 the chick pulls out from under the pillow in scarface years back, it was blank firing relaodable, full auto and had a removable supressor. Some of the prop guns are fucking sweet

I enjoyed that show, but that episode in particular had a lot of that. Bunch of the "militia" had flat top AR with a2 front sight and no rear, or no sights of any kind.
This pic pretty much sums the show up. Feels like a Mexican soap opera. But, like a train wreck, I kept watching 🤦‍♂️
