What did you buy or order today????

You know, I like rifle optics. I like reading about them, testing them, using them, seeing pictures of them, hell my wife thinks I like scopes more than neeked women.

And at my age, 60 years old, she could be right. But damn, if I read one more post about ordering, buying, or contemplating buying a Vortex PST, I'm going to bust.

Yes, I could just ignore them, and yes, I understand the enthusiasm and sharing with comrades, about your new toys.

But ever other post in Optics is about a damn PST.

So in the spirit of sharing, what did you buy or order today?

I'll start:

I bought 6 pair Jockey Boxer Briefs, in tactical black of course.

A fifth of Woodford Reserve Bourbon, to help get over my Vortex PST ennui.

Food for the dog.
Tuna for the spoiled cat.

Oh, and I almost forgot, I done went and spent, $2100. buying a USO SN3-1750 off of the SWFA Sample List.

Take that you PST lovers, and shove it.....

I feel better now. I think I'll just make another drink.

I have spent the last hour on the US Optics site... Looking to built a new SN-3 (3.8 X 22) with Horus (H-37) Reticles.. I'll pull that trigger tomorrow.... LOL

Didnt buy anything today but I did however hold and twist the knobs on a PST during the shot show, and I cancelled my order after seeing them not impressed. You are way better going with a USO hands down, I did get in the rest of the parts for my 300Blackout in today.....YEE HAWWW!

Took delivery of a scope I have been looking for quite awhile, Nikon Gold 1.5-6x42 German 4 reticle. It will make a great addition to my primary deer getter, a Encore 209x50 Katahdin muzzleloader.

Just transferred $11k into my bank account for the new deck.

It will be W18' x L18'(L extends OUT from the house) with a gabled roof that is attached to the house that will cover W18' x L12'. The entire 'system' will be constructed with the future project of remodelling the kitchen. The structure will be built so it is within specs for codes and will allow simply installing walls, windows, and a door to enclose at a later date.
In the mean time, it will have a lit ceiling fan, two spot lights at either end of the roof to light the grill and smoker, and offer a shaded, cool place to enjoy a bourbon and cigar during rain or shine.
The old deck is rotted and unsound. I do not place enough confidance in it to hold the evening or summer gatherings we like to host. This should enliven the place up and be a solid investment as well.
