I will be in Colorado in October, and I am looking for a GPS unit. I already have an 5700 elite, I need something with top graphical maps. I want to be in the 300-500 very max range.

GPS map 66i. Its msrp is $600, but it’s a fully featured gps device with 2 way satellite communication via inReach.
if you don’t want to go over budget, the 66st is the same unit minus the inReach.

If you do the garmin do the inreach. It is awesome. I carry one all hunting season.
That being said, I now use my phone with OnX MAPS and carry a standalone Inreach that pairs with my phone to text. I highly recommend, unless you are hunting in my zone...

I've ran the montana with onX for years but lately I have been just using onX on my phone (Samsung) . Using the phone is a lot smoother, better battery life, better visibility and is less bulky. The montana is rugged but I feel it's quite outdated. Whatever you choose onX is an absolute must.
