The rich continue to run this country and continue to enact policies that prevent the middle class from gaining wealth and the rich own a larger and larger percentage of all money in the country. They convince us that corporations are more important than people. That the workers don't deserve vacation time, sick time, benefits. They have the middle class think that it's the poor taking their money away when the poor haven't gotten any richer. Tax breaks for the rich. Tax breaks for companies that pay their employees shit. And they have us convinced they are doing us a favor by hiring people and paying them meager wages.

Someone making $40k a year loses 10% of their money to taxes, that's a big freaking hit. They already aren't making much. Someone making $4 million a year loses 10%? That person is still living an absolutely life of luxury on $3.6 million net. The country prospers when the whole country is doing well, not just the rich.

Hmmmm, just imagine if the government wasn't paying people to sit at home and be baby factories.
In the last two years the unemployment rate has dropped and the work force participation rate has increased. Which has resulted in an increase in workers compensation/take home pay. When there's a lack of workers the employer will increase the wages to attract the labor. With capitalism there's always going to be a difference in wages. But you get to decide what that wage is going to be.
With Socialism you are not going to get that result. What you are seeing right now is the results of the government and a Socialist program, The Great Society.

Nothing I'm posting is new or bizarre. It's been going on for decades. Yes, we are fucking over the poor and middle class. The rich continue to run this country and continue to enact policies that prevent the middle class from gaining wealth and the rich own a larger and larger percentage of all money in the country. They convince us that corporations are more important than people. That the workers don't deserve vacation time, sick time, benefits. They have the middle class think that it's the poor taking their money away when the poor haven't gotten any richer. Tax breaks for the rich. Tax breaks for companies that pay their employees shit. And they have us convinced they are doing us a favor by hiring people and paying them meager wages.

Someone making $40k a year loses 10% of their money to taxes, that's a big freaking hit. They already aren't making much. Someone making $4 million a year loses 10%? That person is still living an absolutely life of luxury on $3.6 million net. The country prospers when the whole country is doing well, not just the rich.

I have spent the better part of my life wearing out boots, and lugging heavy things around the globe, trying to protect people from the "glory of socialism" and fixing what it broke and destroyed. If you want to talk about "fucking the poor, and the middle class" socialism/communism/statism/globalism/fascism/national socialism, or whatever other nomenclature you want to apply to it, is the master monster of them all.
There is nothing better out there at "fucking up the poor, and the middle class". From the former East Bloc Europe, to China, to Cambodia, Somalia, North Korea, Cuba, Zimbabwe, Angola, Nicaragua, Grenada, Vietnam, Venezuela, and let's not forget the former Soviet Union, and Nazi Germany, and the follow on former East Germany a.k.a. the German "Democratic Republic" (hint there was nothing democratic about it, nor was it a Republic).
I'm tired of "Social Justice" Warriors who get their "firsthand" knowledge from CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC watching the idiot's lantern called TV lecturing those who've actually seen what social democracy and socialism inflict on countries and their people, especially the poor and infirm.
A system that sacrifices the needs of the individual to the needs of the masses is not designed for the "good of the masses" because if you don't respect the individual, how can you respect the masses made up of millions of individuals? It is moronic to believe that letting government violate the rights of the individual leads to a better society, and not to what it has always led to - a small clique of murderous, immoral, thugs that steal, and kill arbitrarily anyone who opposes them, or the theft of common, and personal property.
