What's the optimal starting jump for 140gr ELDs?

Hey all... this should have been easier than using some search-foo, but I'm not having much luck due to the overwhelming amount of off-topic results.

What should I use as the initial jump for 6.5mm Hornady 140gr ELDs for initial charge ladders? (my current best guess is 0.030" off the lands)

Yep, run mine at .020.

I’ve started and ended all mine at .020.

I'm going to run another 50 rounds down the barrel during my next range trip, with will be rounds 66-115, does it make sense to test 10 rounds at say; .005", .020", .035", .050", and .065" off the lands, or would it be better to run different steps?

I found them to be very jump tolerant.

I started at .005 and went to .025, mine are best at .010 in my 6.5-284

My Grendel with 123 grain ELDMs likes .020. Must be a pretty common thing with the 6.5s.

I'll echo what everyone else said. I first loaded at 0.020" and they shot extremely well. They also shot extremely well at 0.012", 0.027", 0.032"... you get the idea. In my experience, the ELDMs must first out shoot!
