We are spending sunrise to sunset at the ESPN center next to Disney for the spring B ball tournament. Our numbnuts coach is trying to teach them something new two minutes before game start.

Alright, I have to do a little shameless bragging... there was a shoot today that I took Jamie, Buzz and the neighbor to. There are 4 different stages and one of them is a head to head speed shoot. You set your gun and on the go command, drop down and fire. First guy that breaks all five targets wins. It’s bracket style and Buzz ended up getting 3rd out of 30 adults!! He was a machine! He lost to a 25 year old kid that was shooting a left port, right eject bench gun and is DAMN FAST!!!! The guy went on to win. The neighbor guy had a blast and hit targets farther than he ever thought and Jamie did great too!

Left the USMC in 64 because they wanted to have him be a DI at Parris Island rather than deploy to Vietnam which is what he was pushing for.

She sent me this:
“I miss you daddy so I just hope you feel better soon, you’re the best I love you so much and I know you’re not feeling good but please take a nap”
She used her moms phone and talk to text. Just turned 7. My house got dusty real dang fast.
That little man is lucky. So is his dad!

Some of you with good memories and tenure will remember my neighbors and their beautiful children.

So yesterday I had to run into town and take care of a few things and do some shopping. Damn near got to shoot, but that didn't happen, again. Slid over to a friends place to help with his Horse Barn we've been milling wood for and building. He finally came around and had a change of heart regarding the Yotes on his property. He's new here and likes when he's on the Tractor in the field with the Brush Hog on and the Vultures circling overhead, the Ravens landing in the field, and the Yotes (young ones) not more than 8-10 feet behind the whole mess eating field mice and rats.
Sez kill'm all now. The Calf wasn't on the ground 5 seconds before they killed and ate it. He didn't have a gun with him. He now carries on the property and is prepared now . We hung the remains in a tree away from the cattle. They'll pay now....

Good Pooch. Owner got himself arrested and I got to play with doggie while owner was booked and later released. Owner got doggie back LoL.
