Just another foggy, but beautiful day on the way in today. It was a chilly for here 28 but absolutely clear once outta the fog. Only thing I really had to bitch about on the way in was the usual rush hour morning commuter traffic. I mean seriously, the gall of this ass hat in front of me actually commuting at the same time as I. Doesn't he know we don't like seeing another rig on the road for the hour drive in? Bastard. Probably from Oregon.

It's my buddies Truck that lives right there on the River. That's Bella. She is hell on wheels if ya gotta Deer, Elk, or Bear hanging. She won't even let you near it without wanting to nip at ya while you're skinning. Ya gotta toss her some scraps to keep her busy. Once the hide is off and on the ground she'll drag it off, then come back for the head. She's my buddies but kinda a communal dog.

Shortness of breath diagnosed as pneumonia in the right lung Monday.
Oldest Brother/Minister in to visit last night. I took him to supper and we had some good talks. Really good talks, about a lot of things.
Back on watch and company detail this morning until another brother got in from NC.
They're taking a shift while I get some rest. Apparently 3 hours a night ain't enough. Who knew?

We're blessed, we found our perfect home about 12 years ago an old farm established in 1841. A kid who grew up nearby became a builder and bought the place in 1995 and completely redid it. The barn has a concrete floor and 40 X 40 workshop on the second floor.

No pics, but an update on my dad. He came home today!
I couldn't believe it.
I finally caught a break from work around 1 PM, grabbed a protein bar and a diet dew and headed for the hospital to watch the 2nd half of the UVA/Louisville game.
Got there and they were preparing him to be discharged!
We told the nurse to slow down just a bit. She says, "How much time is left now?"
I told we should be ready to go in about a half hour.
He was signing out as the buzzer sounded.
It was amazing!
As he was getting dressed and getting his stuff together, I could see his spirits being lifted higher and higher with each movement.
Took him home with some Katie Grace music playing on the stereo and he was humming along and grinning from ear to ear.
He was blissful by the time he sat foot in that house!
Good stuff, boys! Great stuff!

We were up till 0300 carving n grinding n bagging. Sounds nasty, I know. Cooked up the Heart for munchies, it was amazing !!! Did a couple patties as well to go along with all the damn Beer. Many, 'almost' too many, were sacrificed.
Just finished a little Brunch thx to Harry and now it's time to get back at it for a bit before BBQing for my Boyz since they're able to bless us with their presence today. You all have a damn fine day and weekend.

You're inspiring me to clean my reloading room up a tad and get to my pile of 7MM once fired from a gun I don't own. Need to get it cleaned up and fire formed to my new 7MM (The Hide Build). Weather be getting better. Planning on going up the mountain this coming weekend to bust some caps and "Finally" shoot that gawd damn propane tank. It doesn't have squat in it anymore so just planning on putting holes in the damn thing.
My money is on the tank somehow coming out on top... again.
Had a plan to bust some steel out to 500 or so for a local youngster. Started snowing like hell.
White steel is hard to see.
He got a few rounds down at 100, nice clover leaf group to boot.
