Keep that shit out that way as best you can, Tom. My wife had to work 30 hours this weekend helping get the lights back on to some 20,000 of our closest friends because of the ridiculous long duration wind storms.

Will do my best. Power back on now. No worries here. Wind lessened, but the lines are still galloping. Pic is one of the patio lights this evening.

I would suspect vehicles left out in it may have a problem, especially if it keeps up. It switched to sleet/snow for a bit, now has changed back to freezing rain.

A coworker of mine, wearing a skirt, was out in that kind of godforsaken frozen hell scraping her car windows, lost high-heel footing and busted her ass royal. Out my office window I got an incredible beaver shot.

After I was certain she was OK I asked her if she'd do it again on camera.

He's up against it pretty good this time boys.

Pacemaker has been working OT for two weeks, and the defib popped him pretty good in the middle of a dream 2 weeks ago tonight.
Shortness of breath diagnosed as pneumonia in the right lung Monday.

Oldest Brother/Minister in to visit last night. I took him to supper and we had some good talks. Really good talks, about a lot of things.

Back on watch and company detail this morning until another brother got in from NC.
They're taking a shift while I get some rest. Apparently 3 hours a night ain't enough. Who knew?

He's fighting, but he's tired. He's telling me he's tired.

Outta Court long enough for some grub and just seen this.

Tucker, I'm at a loss while sitting here with a heavy heart for all of you. I can't express strongly enough how I wish none of you were going through this. You've shared so much with us regarding your family and upbringing, it makes it hard when we know the man behind all of this is winding down and showing his mortal side. We can only hope along with you and your family that Dad pulls outta this one once again.

Know this. We are all pulling for Dad's, Your, and Your Families well being during this trying time. Heartfelt prayers to each and every one of you !!!!

Please, all of you rest when you can to preserve your health as well. Running yourself into the dirt serves nobody. Stay strong Brother and we look forward to good news in the immediate future !!!

The news tonight is more upbeat and encouraging. He has been up and out of bed and he is feeling much better, both physically and in spirit.
After getting only about 3 hours sleep last night, I'm sitting here watching The Rolling Stones on PBS and enjoying a little Jose Cuervo to help get me dialed in for a more restful night.
Thanks for the support from all of you, my brothers.

Thanks guys, docs cannot tell us if it is going to be days, hours or weeks, 30+ hour drive away and no direct flights and his dementia means he no longer recognizes visitors I am guessing the next time I see him will be the funeral.
Dammit, just lost internet, reverted to phone, more to follow.

Good to hear something positive Tucker, I am going through something similar with my dad. Lung cancer and various organ failures.

Barney, our Aussie Mate, to you as well we hope Dad is comfortable and can only wish him, you, and yours the very best and continued strength during this terrible time. It pains me to hear of good people having to suffer through this after going through it to many times already. Lost my parents and step parents a long time ago unfortunately and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss Mom, Dad, and my Step Dad who raised me. It's obviously an unfortunate scenario we all have to go through, but nevertheless difficult and trying.

Prayers and best thoughts outbound in your direction Mate !!!!

Tucker, thank you for taking the time to give us the upbeat update !!! Outstanding. This has got to put you all at ease to a degree. Hoping for his continued recovery and you all remain in our thoughts. Best to ya Brother.

Just another foggy, but beautiful day on the way in today. It was a chilly for here 28 but absolutely clear once outta the fog. Only thing I really had to bitch about on the way in was the usual rush hour morning commuter traffic. I mean seriously, the gall of this ass hat in front of me actually commuting at the same time as I. Doesn't he know we don't like seeing another rig on the road for the hour drive in? Bastard. Probably from Oregon.
