74 today here in Deadly Ditch Ohio........but it is Ohio so prolly 12 tomorrow.
@Threadcutter308 lol Close. Couple miles to the left. That clearcut, which gets grossly overlooked during hunting season, is on the left just down the hill here a bit at the County Line.

Used a strong half a bundle of shingles to repair the demo damage. Hit them with the weed burner torch to glue them down.

Iowa has 10 nice days a year. Today WAS one of them. Early spring sun, light winds (for us), and dang near 50 degrees. The grill is ready, but had to shoot first as the shadows grow long. Me and this ol’ 20” 308 get along like peas and carrots. Just finished working at 655 yards...
And then the day/evening got better. Cat food thievin’ boar coon from my son’s 2nd floor bedroom window. It’s a long story, but I spent the time to set him up, had the range, etc... A 243 at 39 yards pushing a 70 grain Nosler BT is good medicine for critters.

Never even went in my office, didn't even have time to notice this post. If I'm in the office, I'm doing drudgery work or bored.
Not today, not quite yet, but the formal offer is in and accepted. About six weeks from now it will be, if there aren't any hiccups. I calculated the difference in the lot sizes last night. It works out to a little under 250 times bigger than what we're currently living on. I was shitting razors yesterday. Today, I'm a bit calmer with the whole thing. Cheerfully resigned, even, to His will.

That looks nice. Buy that and there will be always something to keep you active. I always tell folks looking at acreages/rural property to not underestimate the amount of work involved to keep them looking proper.

Beautiful. when I retired we moved to a little 80 Acre ranch. Always something to do and we do not even have that grass to mow. Enjoy it.
I almost wish. Almost. It's serene there, about fifteen, twenty minutes on the other side of the crusty edge of the "commuter zone," where folks are just crazy and willing enough to fight through rush hour traffic twice a day to make a living in Center City. And it's about ten minutes before "where the fuck are we?" Virtual officing and teleconferencing are beautiful things. Hopefully the locals are ready for me. If not, they're in for one great big fuckin' surprise.
