Maggie’s What's Your View II

Yup, that’s the factory stock. They are fun, but the LOP is a bit short for an adult. Fits my kids (15 and 13) just right. Mine lives on a steady diet of Wolf Match Extra. Your rig would be fun as well, especially with a muffler!

Yeah, I have a little folding money in the pocket and am considering the purchase of another safe queen. Not that I need another, but I’m starting to consider another green stamp HBAR.......The one that I have looks to be worth about double what I paid for it. Better return than putting cash in the safe. My problem is not enough time due to work, but the perks (and health insurance) are my golden handcuffs. Between air miles and hotel stays, the missus and I go to Europe for about 20 cents on the dollar every trip.

I feel ya. This is my last night. Leaving a yard period just in time to completely miss FMEA, and the going back on contract with BP fiasco that always ensues. Rig is leaving the dock at noon tomorrow. I will be leaving Pascagoula around 0500. I feel like I stole somethin. :)
Man that timetable worked out well. Just remember they'll get you back sooner or later. I worked for BP on a very famous (infamous?) rig for 9 yrs, so I well know what you're talking about when you use the word fiasco.

Thanks, it’s never made me a dime :). Not one red cent. I think you commented on it in one of R’s 22 postal type shoots here on the Hide. I believe you wanted your son to clean up his penmanship, I hope you’ve seen progress.

I guess its getting a little weird when I've "gay'd'" out over your han writing twice.......almost akin to swiping right.

On the way home from my mom's house. Got past the traffic and noticed this.
It's a manufacturers test mule (Audi).
Looks like a Q-7.
He was breezing southbound on I-75.
Not sure if he was just avoiding the MI weather or testing the car on flat, smooth roads...

Crash into it and blame it he paint job you'd probably be found not responsible.

Can't get enough of the place. I'm fortunate to be able to spend about a month out there every year for the last 30 years. The Paradise valley and the Absaroka Mountain range is heaven on earth!
Mike

Love Paradise Valley too. Seem to remember (and seeing) there are a lot of (very large) survivalist bunkers out there.
Ever been to Driggs, Idaho?....Just down the hill from Grand Targhee ski area. Back in about '92, I looked at a 3,500 sq ft log home on 10 acres. Economy was bad then and the owner wanted about $210K IIRC. Over a million now. Kicking myself.

There's all kinds of stuff in those hills, not positive but I'm pretty sure there's a few missile silos scattered around. The only place I've spent any time in Idaho is around Last Chance, another wonderful area. I guess we all have stories about real estate out there, I've been kicking myself also, around 20 years ago had a chance to buy a nice piece of property in the paradise valley, like the moron I am, passed on it. I can't even imagine what it's worth today. It's amazing how property skyrocketed in the last 20 years out there. NYC real estate got nothing on good properties out west!

Passed up 45 acres north of Jackson hole about 35 years ago...

My best friend and I were here, fishing the pads this morning. Haven't been here in 20 years, at least. My dad brought me here last, and I haven't been able to find it again until now. Been trying harder to find it since he passed, and it finally paid off. Maybe he had something to do with the weather. I always bring some of his rods any time I fish, and as usual, his rods caught more than mine did.

Man that's pretty, where is it?

Ron Carter last night. I had the great fortune to meet him in 1987 when he recorded an album with a friend of mine. The Tribute to Miles recording is one of my favorite of all time. It was a big deal for me to see him and my wife had no idea it was him when he walked up and said a few words to us. As he climbed up on stage she looked at me with an expression of, who was that guy?

Just off of hwy 61 in Paulding County, Ga. If you ever get close to here, shoot me a pm and I'll get you there. And you're welcome to use any of my gear....

Thanks man, that's very generous of you.

After a lifetime of pond fishing for Bass and Bream I'm currently trying to learn saltwater fishing. The fish provide more meat, but I haven't decided if it's for me. A nice still pond with some structure will always be my first love.

If I ever get off my ass and drive up to ATL to visit @MosesTheTank or @Forgetful Coyote I'll try to get up with you. I'll throw artificial frogs, Devil Horses, and plastic worms into those pads all damn day, whether the Bass are interested or not.

Believe it or not that clown just came out of a store front up in the woods of WI not really a carnie story behind that one.

Hmmm.......looks somewhat ornate, fairly high quality (?) I assume it might be worth some money ? But, the trick would be in finding the right buyer I suppose. That’s if you were even thinking about selling it. What are the ponies about ? Do you clean/paint them with the intention of selling them ? Or, is it a Grandkids sort of thing ?

Well, we're at a point of serious Flood Stage today. Fields are holding water. River is probably cresting as I type. Tide is coming in and I don't have my damn Chestwaders with me. It's gonna be either call a friend to come get me by boat or go full retard, again.

This was the other day at High Tide, so you can see my 'concern'.

Mallards, Seagulls, Geese's, n Woodies paddling around the standing water.

Yep, Skykomish, Snohomish, Stillaguamish and Skagit are all up/milkshake......floods are comin'. Had lots of snow on the West Side this year......oughta' be fun. Nice thing about my neck of the woods is there is enough elevation change that you can usually skirt around flooded areas. J; You on the other hand, are much more susceptible due to being on deltas/flatland. Good luck and don't drive over any flooded roads ;) I'm sure you already know this, but the white lines disappear awful fast. I did it once, years ago. At night. Never again.

Oh it's coming Brother. Or I should say, it's happening as we speak. I have years of extensive flood shenanigans under my belt. We get up to 5 ft over my road.

It's gonna be way worse than this one. :ROFLMAO:
