Range Report When to push out or push in the coal?

I'm working with a wildcat similar to a 28 nosler. And 197 7mm SMKs. I've run 100 and 030 off lands. 030 off lands produced 1 in 5 having a stiff bolt at 84.5grs of rl33 (about a grain early). My total error in measuring the ogive is 008" and coal is 004".

So I can reduce powder and decrease coal OR increase coal and decrease load.

Thoughts??

You can do whatever but its advised that you begin load up closer to the lands rather than the inverse for this exact reason.
If you start close and work away you will only ever get lower pressures as a result.
Start away from them and work closer than you can have pressure spikes.
