Let me tell you a little fucking story. I have been with the same woman for 30 years last month.

Her parents have always voted Democrat. In the last 30 years they have had 4 homes. Never putting the equity from one home to the next. But instead blowing 50-60k on stupid shit. They have had 13 vehicles. Now at age 76 they still have a mortgage payment and are all but on the edge every month.
They think the government should rescue them from their poor decisions. Oh they had plenty of money slip through their fingers, but CHOSE to make poor decisions with that money. Every poor choice they made took money out of their pocket and put it in someone else's.

My parents on the other hand have both worked there asses off, still live in the same home my father personally built at night after work and on the weekends in 1976.
They have had 4 vehicles in 30 years.

Dad had a career he was into 20 year and in 1988 after mom put herself through college he put himself through college in 3 years while working a 9 hour a day job.

They are retired now, with no house payment, or vehicle payments. They require nothing from the government.

You do understand that 50% of the population pays 0 federal income tax. That means 50% of the population is paying 100% of the Bill's. We are already in a socialist government. And it is failing.

Socialism also squelches innovation. Look at USA where a simple idea can change your life. Compared to Russia (cold war era) and China. In those countries if you come up with a good idea your life changed not one bit, come up with a poor idea and it could cost you your life. There is a reason Russia and China copy all our designs and steal our ideas.

I have lived all over the world; Canada, Australia, Italy, Vietnam, Greece, Turkey, Germany, Spain, and in 23 American states. I have spent a ton of time in France, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, the United Kingdom, Namibia, South Africa, Egypt, Afghanistan, Djibouti, Pakistan and Iraq all thanks to my uncle Sam.

Move to Alaska or the Northern Rockies. Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Colorado, New Mexico, are on a ship sinking fast. Most of the rest of Western America is already sunk.

New Zealand has a huge left wing assault going on right now.

Norway needs to right itself or it will sink like Sweden did. I am not sure about Finland.

Maybe Argentina or Uraguay in South America.

Poland, Hungary and the Czech are doing well, but thanks to a small mustached Austrian in the 1940's they wouldn't want you to live there.

I swore an oath to defend this Republic, so I hear ya. Personally I won't embrace the idiot Custer's mentality in regards to dying, I'd prefer to go for George S. Patton's idea on that if it comes down to it.
