Which Charge Weight would you pick based on these results?

As I recall, you said you're using Berger 140 VLD's??? VLD don't really like a lot of jump and can be temperamental for finding just the right jump. They tend to do better close to the lands. The Berger 140 Hybrids, on the other hand, can do well with a substantial jump; much easier to find a good seating depth. ;)

No they are not. They are written by people with pressure testing equipment that most of us have zero access to. The closest correlations we can make are by velocity vs barrel length.
Well, you are entitled to your opinion and I’m entitled to think it’s total bunk.

I mean, if you want to send a 140 6.5 CM at 2,500 fps, then yeah.

Wanna merely match factory ammo, like Hornady or Berger, you’ll be blowing out of that book max. And I’m shooting out of a 26” single cut barrel.

Its not an opinion. It's simple facts people try to minimize by spouting bullshit.

2500 🤣🤣🤣 That's about starting loads with most powders. I am starting feel like you have never even looked at 6.5 creed load data. Do you even reload? The data is mostly all in line with Bergers. 140s 2500-2800 in 24" depending on powder.

Achieve factory ammo velocity. Let me get out my pressure testing and powder blending equipment. Oops. I don't have any. I have seennplenty of factory ammo blow primers though. So.......

You have a point. Some years back the Hornady manual had 40.8 or 41.2 as max for 140 and H4350. However, their match 140 ammo had a recommended reload of 41.5 of H4350 printed on the box, lol. I think they stopped printing load data on ammo as it did not jive with manual data. I have yet to have a manual match real world performance. I went to QL and true profiles for all my rifles, that seems to produce better data for each gun. I have run pressure ladders and QL (when trued) has been very close to when I see first signs of pressure. Very few profiles matched a load manual max.

Thanks for the information. Maybe I've just been lucky up to this point and never had to test anything beyond .03 to find a load that worked. I will do some research when I have time. Thanks again!

nowadays equipement and reloading stuff is so good that you just cant get ''bad'' load.
so you are not lucky, just the fact of good components.
but maybe your groups can shrink a little, but in my opinion with different jump testing, not with different powder charge.
