Having gone RMR on a ring offset, I'd go T-1 on a offset.
On the top, its too high over bore. A good offset would place it in the same plane as the primary optic.
The adjustments on the RMRs suck. In the cold you can't feel the detents. There are no good covers. Tactically, any reflex sight is a large mirrored reflector. You need to cover it or have a killflash. There are covers for the T-1, and the T-2 has them built in.
The RMRs on the advantage side are very much out of their own way. There's not much to frame the sight picture if that makes sense. Low profile.
Having used both, I'd wait to the T-2, and put it on an offset.
