Who said that a Rem700 can’t shoot? This group was shot at 1300m with a Rem700 308 Win sitting in a Cadex Dual Strike chassis.

Guys sometimes complain about the weight of our first ever chassis design (Dual Strike) but that weight is also what gives you this ultimate stability required to make these incredible shots. Light and stable doesn’t go well in the same sentence. Now it’s up to you to find your sweet balance between the usability and the stability depending on your needs.

Looks like someone posted pics of my rifle
Here are the details as requested:
Chassis: Cadex Dual Strike s/a in OD Green
Action: Trued Remington 700 Stainless
Trigger: Timney set at 2.5lbs (adjustable 2-4lbs)
Barrel: Bartlein M24 profile, 1-8 twist, 5r rifling, 20 inch, threaded
Magazine: Accuracy International 5 rnd


In regards to the weight, yes, it’s a bit heavier than a standard 700 in an HS stock, but it’s not impossible to lug around in the bush (yes, it’s been hunted with and it’s entirely doable). A long time ago, I complained about the weight of my rucksack during basic, and the staff simply told me to grow stronger, lol! The chassis on its own isn’t really that heavy actually. For this particular rifle, it was all the other bits like the scope and scope mount, bipod and bipod mount, heavier profile barrel and the bolt knob.
