Not for the next 2020 election cycle. But yes, it's nearly 100% probability that Texas will turn blue. Probably by 2024.
State and local elections will trend hit and miss. With red "islands" in rural areas.

I'm pulling back on some things.
The connections I've made lately and the willingness to embrace the ideas i have across demographics makes me think it's the right call to focus more on my own efforts than those of the organizations who've held the line so far.

I’ve been living in the Dallas area for the last 5 years. Born in NY the home of the long standing democrat supporting Donald J Trump, you know before he decided he could get republicans to vote for him if he sold them on some great personal conversion at the age of 70. And then spent my 20s and 30s living in Michigan.
I am a Midwest liberal. I support 2A and gun ownership. I support an individuals right to be an individual and do and believe in what they want as long as it is not directly injuring another person and I believe the vast majority of growth in this country game off of public initiatives and there is value in supporting the society as a whole. Like public education which benefits the country as a whole when done well.
There are a lot of people like me here in TX and more everyday.

With all of the twatwaffles and cuntsicles fleeing the steaming pile of shit that they created in CA that are coming here and bringing their despicable voting habits and ideals with them, it will happen sooner or later. The map above is a little misleading. The scattered blue counties are the most populated. Similar to looking at the national election map from '16, it's mostly red, but red only won by the skin of their teeth.

2020 will be the last time Texas votes a republican president. Too much voter fraud and too many illegals. And nobody is doing anything about it.
In Virginia, there was a one and two seat republican majority. Many districts didn’t have a republican candidate. The margin was too thin. With that being said, Texas needs to make sure Folks vote. All elections matter, the locals are the foundation. It controls business, school boards, sheriffs, and support for federal immigration law. Don’t get distracted by national politics, you deal with local concerns every day, it’s what keeps your family and your values safe.

Too many people get wrapped up in National when local (state, county, city) effect them way more in their day to day. But that requires being able to understand that there’s more than just a presidential election and thinking is hard.
I think states across the country will turn blue as the metropolitan areas increase in population and school kids continue to be brainwashed. This will continue until we implode. The real question should be will we speak Mandarin or Cantonese.
Let's be honest. TX is going communist and when it does the nation falls. Trump has merely hit the pause button in the destruction of our Republic so enjoy your freedom while it lasts. In my opinion this would only be true if the liberal/democrat party supported 2A. At minimum they want to restrict 2A to the point it's useless of it's original intention. At worst some are even on record stating saying they will straight take them from you.
Wonder how they would accomplish this? By force of course. History shows an unarmed population does not do very well under tyrannical control.
Again in my opinion - The bottom line is that if 1A and 2A are priorities on your list of voting issues, then there really isn't a way to vote democrat.

Do your research and find out how many 'Texans' were at the Alamo. Most were Tennessee, Virginia, and other states which have now turned blue. Many werent even 'Americans' though we should grant them honorary citizenship.

Two of my great ancestors were at the Capitulation of General Cos, in La Villita, Bexar. Riding with Juan Sequin, they knew better than to get caught inside an indefensible fort.

Texas is in bad shape IMO. Most of the state officials are NOT conservative, they are at best old Blue Dog Democrats. The latest sham of "property tax relief" should be an eye opener. Abbot is decent, but tries way too hard to be "hip" and make nonsense laws that is just an attempt to maintain conservative support. Oh and dont get me started on his whole "border surge" or wtf he called it. Sent a bunch of DPS to the border to "assist" in immigration enforcement, but mostly they just write speeding tickets. Oh and guess who is paying for the imported DPS to the border? TAXPAYERS! we are paying for their housing while they are on the border...... Ok im done.... for now

I voted that TX will become the next VA but I need to qualify that with saying that most if not all States are going to go that way as the Union dissolves. Eventually we'll have to remake the Republic and be more careful than the last time but for now all we can do is control the crash and take care of our own.
I firmly believe we will not vote our way out of what's coming and that what's coming is further decline of The Republic one State at a time or maybe 2 or three at a time.
Control the crash in my own neighborhood is my plan.
