Tag. I've been runing 175 SMK's and thought "how can I compete with all the guys shooting the .260 lasers?"...Scenar's might help me out a bit! Good reading here, I'll have to give these a try too.

loaded some 155 scenars last week and tried them sunday with the chrono

started at 43.5 grains and worked my way up to 47.2 i peaked 2898 fps on my last and highest load. started at 2688fps and went up fairly quickly after that, it started leveling off around 45-47 grains.

My OAL based off ogive was 2.265 i was about .005 from the lands. Didn't see any pressure signs on the brass or primer, bolt did not stick or anything, overall happy.

I have a FN SPR 24" in a a4 mcmillan stock. Rifle has about 400 rounds through it now. Using varget powder and cci br2 primers and LC brass.
