Looks that way. Prices for Leica, Zeiss, Swaro, sig, Revic, etc. do not look to be impacted yet.

I've had a chance to play around with the Vector X's a bit now at NRL Hunter and local PRS matches and I love them. The next toy showed up today for the Hunter match in Iowa at the end of the month… the Garmin 901.
Now to figure out what a workflow between the Vector X + Kestrel + Foretrex 901 looks like. /headache

Agreed, I am still figuring it out for the Vectors to Kestrel. If I competed I'd grab a 901 but I have no use for that awesome toy.
The vector, 901, kestrel cannot all be connected at the same time. Only 2 at a time. For something like NRL it's best to manually update wind speed and direction before the stage on 901 with kestrel and have the vectors connected, so turn Bluetooth off on kestrel for the whole match. Workflow is pretty simple that way. When on the clock, just hit the targets and let them populate on the target card and go to work.
Appreciate the response, I'm going to play that back with a bit of commentary just to confirm my understanding
Assertions
- Only two devices can be connected at a time
- Kestrel can transmit wind, temperature and pressure data to the Garmin
- Vector X can transmit range, dof and inclination to the Garmin
- With the Vector X asleep, turn Kestrel bluetooth on
- Take measurements - they should automatically stream to Garmin
- Turn bluetooth off on Kestrel
- Laze targets with Vector X and stream to Garmin Quick Target Card feature (Garmin is doing the ballistic solve)
If I have any of that incorrect please let me know.
After seeing a few threads and countless pages are there any other gotchas to be aware of regarding settings on any of the devices?

I actually never turn Bluetooth on for the kestrel, I find it easier to just input the values manually on the 901 than messing with connecting.

It was confirmed tonight that the next batch will be reflective of the Tariff in place. Depending on the price increase, these may be the last 5 we will stock until the prices come back down.
