After much waiting the 7 SAUM arrived yesterday, turned out OK,(well I think so

Starting loads will be 180g Hybrids, 4831SC, Norma brass and 210 match.

BBW,

Really like the 5-40 March, very nice build, solid and the .05mil dot makes use of the 40x without covering the target.

I've had a 3-24 FFP Marck on my 6.5x47 for a while now in place of the original 5-25 S&B and can see no downside in the change.

Yes the Stock's nice, I've a 6.5x47 with a similar build spec (but Surgeon action) which I've used for about 2 years now. Just itchinmg to try the 7mm

Nice looking gun!!
You'll love the saum. Put a 6.5x47 case next to a saum, the saum looks like a 6.5x47 on steroids.
I have two, have shot both to 1850, tried 2k, no luck. I like the 6.5x47 also.
If you don't get the desired velocity, go slower powder. I run VV N570.
