Tell me how this is an acceptable standard of justice under the law? How can someone lose their rights just because someone else accused them of something and it has not been adjudicated in court?

I had to file one to protect my daughters from their own mother.
I had to call the police on her and then file the next day.
I referred to the report number. I had it within minutes of filing.
In this woman's case, hers was based on an argument outside the court room, on the street. No info was provided whether the PD responded to the disturbance or not.
She accused him of being verbally and physically abusive

If there is actual evidence that he did try to run her over with a car, he might not have had a choice about going to jail.

They won’t. Got their ass beat by Miami canes today! Top team in the country. We will be competitive against your decent teams. That’s about it! My boy not back from tommy John surgery yet. We had a b-ball tournament at the ESPN center three months ago.
The first team they played was N Miami and they (12-13yrs old) got smashed 90-2. Two... That's not a typo.
The kids were all 6'4" and taller. Most of them were already shaving.
It reminded me of the pitcher in the movie The Benchwarmers.
I didn't see many parents in their bleachers. Did they drive themselves there?
I was talking with our ref after the game and he said they stack the team with older kids and they don't ask for proof of age.
It's sad to see what people will do just to win.

These kids are recruited from all over! All expenses paid! I played at Mississippi state in the 80s and yes, everything has changed! I was top rated player in Alabama and top 10 pitcher nationally. Blew my arm out and struggled for 3 years and 2 surgeries later. Now I’m seeing my son go through the same thing. Baseball has been good and bad to me! When my boys finished I prob won’t ever go to a game again. I’ll spend my time shooting, fishing and hunting.
It's too bad about your arm. I know the pain involved. I blew mine out when I was 15. Tore the shoulder up and it never healed correctly.

Thank you mike! We shut down my boys throwing today for a while. He’s 11 months out of Tommy John. He was throwing around 90 month or so ago and now has dropped around mid 80s with tightness. He’s 6’3” weighs 200 at 17. Has a lot of potential but has had 2 surgeries already. I also have 2 daughters and a great wife! I’m glad I hurt my arm. Probably wouldn’t have what I have now had I not! Hurts me way worse to see your boy or kids deal with it than myself. But struggles and failure creat great character. Great life lesson that will help them down the line hopefully. Thanks buddy!
Good on you helping protect his health. Too many coaches want the win and will over pitch kids and ruin them for life.

One of my best friends parallels that scenario he was a pitcher the Indians (Cleveland) wanted him out of high school his father said no way. He insisted he go to college first he did what dad said blew out his rotator ended any hope of the big league. I still wouldn't want to be downrange from him awesome hand eye coordination. Too bad he could afford a pretty good education after the the big league? But I'm not a sports guy what do I know?
