Where is that that sun, I hope it comes up today. Someone place a call to Helios, make sure he is working today. I guess I will run downstairs and see what peppers germinated last night, before the grow light comes on.

Yep it’s another gorgeous day in west Co. headed out to Cameo soon great range perfect weather for an IDPA match. I suck but it’s great fun
1.5 hours to the range for me, so I drive while it's dark and ready to shoot at the sunrise.

We were hammering through to Moab, but the short stop made me want to spend a little more time there. Looks like an awesome place!!
You guys have fun. I’m stuck here quarantined. Had to withdraw from the Area 6 uspsa match. I will be out of quarantine on Thursday and the match is Sat/Sun. I went ahead and pulled out because if I didn’t, sure enough something would happen and I’d loose my match fees. It was just cutting it too close.
Not that I'm counting but very shortly, every day will be a leisure day for shooting. I am about two years from retired and caring a little less every day about working.
I have my own 120 acres of rifle range with steel targets to 800 yards on my property and no neighbors for a couple of miles and am a member of two different ranges closer to the house AND there are two sporting clays fields in between those two ranges and a new trap and skeet operation going in about 10 miles away.
Then I have a shop with tools and an extremely fast car for days I don't want to go shooting and plenty of reloading that always needs attention. If we can survive the communists and retards for a few years I might be able to live in leisure before building out my car and getting ready to live my last few years in the post-socialist apocalypse world Demento joe has planned.

I watched Powahound76 do it at 1000 yds. and hit a 2 qt. juice bottle full of colored water hanging in front of the plate and he had to drive over 2 hours and 130 miles to get here.
It was a great day for me and I think we may do it again for some more fun, hopefully soon.

Went to the range Wednesday night to try out mah new toy . Got me a Mini 14 . Weee Doggy . It is on my Cool List so I said fuck it . Shot well for aperture sights and old eyes . Also ran a few mags thru the new Wilson Combat Protector . I actually giggled at how tight is was offhand at 50 yards . The 1-8 Vortex helped .
Only vodka thats not normal that I drink is Zubruwka. Polish buffalo grass vodka.

Four Roses single barrel this last week though. Nearly shat when a guy from church who I offered a bit to, mixed it with Coke.

yes bored so I reloaded another 100 rounds drank another beer , listened to some music sat in a comfy chair now I just have to wait for Monday and another range day to see if I have sunshine on a cloudy day .

The center fire rifle range is a distant memory for me. A pre covid normalcy. I miss local state matches the most.
Now I have resorted to the trap + skeet and sporting clays range. Seeking refuge of course, but damn it's fun and ammo is very available.
