Rifle Scopes Zeiss as a Tactical Spotter: Opinions please???

Hi,

I'm busy searching for a Spotter with a MilDot reticule. There seems to be only two real contenders avialable in the UK...At the low end, the Bushnell FFP 15-45x60 and the Zeiss Diascope 65mm with a Mildot eyepeice...

I'm looking for opinions on the Zeiss set up..I believe its a fixed x30 magnification? I've seen pictures on here of the Bushnell picking up bullet holes at 400m, so I am wondering what the Zeiss can do given its lower magnification but better quality optics..

i think most will agree the zeiss is probably the top of the line spotter. cant comment on the 400m holes... never used one past 300m

if you want the best. look at the zeiss spotter 60.

I'd need to sell a kidney to afford one of those!

After phoning around a few places in the UK,It looks like the (none) availability of that particular eyepeice is going scupper the Zeiss Diascope :-(
