Zelensky showing no respect in Oval Office

With that being said, would you have preferred Ukraine fell to Russia early in the name of strategic stability?
While not directed at me, I would have preferred the conditions not be created which led to this.

West could have kept up “pressure” with out jumping head first into the coup.

Understood, thank you.

Human Rights vs Strategic Stability is one of my favorite conversations around these parts.

Most who prioritize the former have never heard a shot fired in anger.

Early on in the Syrian civil war, Edward Luttwak suggested the U.S. and Russia back Assad immediately and crush the rebellion as he valued strategic stability.

At the time everyone thought he was crazy.

I remember thinking he was pretty smart.

Your question is a philosophical one. In this case, it is hard for me to articulate an answer concisely.

The only person who should have placed human rights first is Zelenskyy. He is the cause of this mess. He is a malevolent being driven by an ego that is much larger than his physical stature. His only goal was to obtain NATO membership and establish himself as a great statesman. He had support from the Globalists in the US and EU. He had the support of the Global media outlets. His ego and his supporters convinced him that Trump would never win. He would eventually get his NATO membership; he would be a very wealthy statesman; he would have a seat at the table and remain in charge of Ukraine.

Reality gets in the way sometimes.

Putin should have crushed him immediately. Potato head would have done nothing. It would now be over.

President Trump and VP Vance stated what the vast majority of the American public has been saying for the last three years:

Ukraine needs America far more than America needs Ukraine. Their country is an economic blip on our GDP radar, provides exactly zero security to our nation on its own accord, and has been a sponge on our assets and energy. The EU, who is highly reliant on Ukraine for agriculture, energy and security, has given the bare minimum of effort to their cause. I consider that a major fucking clue.

The support that has been provided to Ukraine has only been just enough to keep them from total collapse, instead intentionally prolonging the war and ensuring it achieved a hellscape stalemate resulting in nothing but death and destruction that neither side can feasibly win short of thermonuclear release of weapons. The MIC get richer, the corrupt leaders get richer, the people die horrible deaths or suffer to the point they wish they would be next. The prolonging of this war is shameful, but unsurprising.

Agriculturally, Ukraine is a sizable competitor to the US on the global markets. Steel, it's a competitor. Minerals, it's a competitor. Politically, it flies in the face of the American ideals of freedom and citizen led leadership. The Uke government has successfully silenced and embargoed its political competition, taken control of the press, and suspended its constitution. It's pure laughable hypocrisy the left, who clamor endlessly about the destruction of democracy, support Zelensky whom has does exactly that. UKRAINE IS NOT A DEMOCRACY. You have to actually hold elections to be a democracy, and they indefinitely suspended all of those. The US held elections in the middle of a Civil War in 1864, yet they cry some bullshit that it can't be done because of an ongoing war. That's the lamest of all fucking excuses.

This entire time, the support for the war in Ukraine has never been justified to me or the majority of Americans. We Americans want an end to it, surprisingly more than the people involved in the running of the fighting of the war. The only ones in the way of peace are the war hawks who wish to see their own people continue to be slaughtered like bird flu riddled chickens. They really do hate their own people that much. Why it's Americans that actually care about the citizenry of both Ukraine and Russia, more than their own leadership, is way beyond my means of rational comprehension because it is completely irrational behavior.
The Euros are shutting down farming in the name of Green. How the hell do they plan to survive importing everything they need? Gonna tap Russia? They should be all in on Ukraine because of what they can gain from Ukraine but war is icky and beneath them. They can just tap the USA to bail them out again, only this time the right guy is in office to tell them NO!

They don't want our crops, most of our breeds and chemical usage versus their laws make sure of that, but they'd gladly take Russia's, same as their LNG. I believe it's a HUGE reason they've sat on the sidelines as much as they have to date.

Hell, I don’t want most of our crops either with all the shit they put on them.

It’s funny that EU buys LNG from Russia and Ukraine buys it from EU. Supporting the evil Putin while letting him do as he pleases and wanting someone else to pick up the tab. The Cabal is real.

If you could choose only one, which would it be?

A. End the Ukraine war

B. Stop spending U.S. money on the Ukraine war

Because ongoing war brings the possibility of escalation along with it, escalating hostilities can take many forms. The consequences vary from inconvenient to catastrophic.

The world is a small place, and catastrophic outcomes can transcend distance.
valid concern. but there is no rational way to justify our causing this war to drag on under the control of the NWO and it's puppet. if we would just stay out of any European involvement beyond normal (and rational) diplomatic dealings we would be better off and would have been better off for the last 100 years. if Russia over runs all of Ukraine where is the damage in US? our trading partners? get real. since we spend more than they do to defend themselves, they get a big trade surplus and we eat those costs.
FUCK EUROPE.

That was my point. We should not be involved other than trying to broker peace. Monetary and personnel resources should be eliminated. Trump is doing the right thing. Push them both (Putin and Zelenskyy) to develop a mutually acceptable solution.

Komrade Vansky is going to get called "Sooka" everywhere he goes for the rest of his life. He's never going to get a moment of peace.

He tried to lay on the sass and got called a bitch. LOL

That was actually the funniest part.
I actually like this comment as an object lesson. It is vapid, vacuous and entirely misses the point. It doesn’t matter what the opinions of others are, the end result is exactly the same: Z did himself no favors and the US populace and political class are moving toward shuttering support. The opinion of Vance will go both the way you say and how most here view it, that’s is a certainty. But the fact remains that this event is a turning point that there is a high likelihood of no return.

And if Vance can’t handle that small amount of criticism he shouldn’t be in the VP slot. Taking hits constantly is part of those positions and is always a part of the requirements of leadership. Nobody gets out without stripes on their back.
