Rifle Scopes Zero Compromise Optic update

I finally got my 4-20 MPCT2 mounted up this afternoon! Haven’t got to take it out yet but did get to set up the diopter and lookout in the back yard about 100yds. Handles CA very well, FOV is much better than the K3-18, to me the turrets are on perfect, I wouldn’t say better just different from the TT. I really like everything about the MPCT2 reticle, not busy, love how the tree doesn’t start until the 2 mil mark, also like the .5 mil reference mark.
I’m reserving the right to judge the glass till I get it out on the range but I like what I see so far!
More to come
I want to thank Richard as CS for all his help in getting this to me in less than 2 weeks, awesome customer service, I will be using these guys again.
Also Dthomas, ZCO and everyone on this thread for helping me spend my money wisely!
Few pics.

For the life of me I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what CA is. ??

Chromatic Abberation. It's the color fringing you see, typically on white objects, caused by each color of light in the spectrum having a slightly different wavelength and reacting with the glass and coatings slightly differently.

Got mine and its an amazing scope. Bright glass and my old eyes can see the sub tensions at lower power.
This was an issue with my Kahles scope with .2 sub tensions. I had to be on 18 power to start to see them clearly. That's why I am selling my brand new Kahles after only two months.

I have to say the ZCO far exceeds the Kahles so far.

A few cons
Bikini cover and caps. At this price range include tenebrex covers. Bikinis are for 1K scopes
No option for left side windage/right side paralax yet. Once you use this you don't want to go back.

The cons are more wish list items lol

Which Kahles do you have? I have looked through the K624i and K525i and really like the K525i with SKMR3 reticle. Do you have any experience with the Steiner M7xi? I am trying to find a comparison of the ZCO vs the M7xi. Both seem like great options.

I have both 624 and 525
I do not but I have looked through Steiner binos and don’t feel the glass is up to par personally..

We've posted this on social media, but also wanted to post it here.

The staff of ZCO will be attending the Sniper's Hide Cup in Colville. We will be there Friday during check in. Please stop by and visit with us if you are attending.

Special thanks to Mr. Galli for the event and Mr. Taylor for hosting. It's a great place and a superb match! See y'all there.

Mine showed up tonight, after a heart attack. Ups said it was delivered, and signed for and no box, no signature by us. I call up CS Mike happens to be there settling late he calls UPS they say not on the truck will be shipped Monday. 5 minutes later the truck pulls up, the driver had the wrong Street!

Mike and Richard are too shelf!

I do need to order new clamp screws, i dialed 45in/#, and that last turn stripped the clamp screws. There tight but will need to be replaced.

Shooting Avenal tomorrow, have the RPR and now have the MPA should be able to get her dopped up and ready for Sunday!

What mount was asking 45 in#? I went with the RRS mount and it looks top notch, will see how it shoots.

Yes, Spuhr on the rail mounts. I'm sure it being late, old eyes, x and rushing the night before my first match I chose the smaller torx bit, only solid explanation. My torque driver is the vortex one and i did checked the setting which maxes out at 50inlbs.

Always make sure it’s a T20 for spuhr.

Also, depending on the actual bit, make sure your driving isn’t off at an angle. It’s possible to still slip with the right bit as the grooves aren’t that deep.

As long as 2-3 bolts are torqued, you’ll be fun to run it while waiting on replacements.

It arrived today!!! I got it mounted this evening and will try to zero tomorrow. Thank you for making the long wait so painless. The scope is a work of mechanical art. @gebhardt02 I am beyond pleased so far. Will let you know how it shoots!

We are very glad you like it so far!

Thanks to @CSTactical I have a 4-20 in hand. We'll see how it stacks up... Initial impressions are good.

I really like how much more "matte" the ZCO is compared to the Schmidt's, more personal preference but prefer the least amount of reflections when I'm hunting (that's my excuse for my pathetic hunting skills) ;) Seriously, nice lineup of optics there jw, can't wait to hear how they compare, even more curious would be how the ZP5 5-25 and the ZCO 4-20 fair in the 15-20 range, that seems to be the range I use most often, also curious how FOV and depth stack up

They are absolutely more matt than my old S&B similar to my USO ER25, but a notch flatter. The coating is very different than the S&B that I can pop a sticker on, on my ZCO even after trying with alcohol, the stickers do not stick.

Not sure that helps - but it is matt

We don't need no stinkin' stickers...

The 5-27 was worth the wait, wow. This is a huge step up from my NF 2.5-10x42 (I know, not a fair comparison, but it's all I've got around me right now). It's also noticeably nicer than a lot of other scopes I've looked through (Vortex, other NF, even S&B), though I'm not able to do a side-by-side, just going from memory, but it definitely is up there with all the best.

The turrets feel great; elevation and windage both. It's going to take me a bit to get used to how fine the clicks are, I'm used to a much larger spacing. The illumination gets quite bright, and the glass is as clean as can be. I'm very sensitive to CA, and I don't see it even with high contrast scenes. I'll get it mounted up tomorrow and see about getting it out to the range (waiting on some rosin). I love the MPCT2 reticle, too.
