Zombies on the way???????

I've seen posts about the coming Zombie,End of The World Scenario and have realized that it may not be far off. Lets look at the facts:

1. Devastating Earth Quake In Haiti
2. Haiti is a haven for Voodo and other Pagan Religions
3. Lots of dead Haitians
4. Mass Graves
5. Relocating thousands from Haiti
= Fertile Zombie Breeding Grounds!

What do you recommend?

Don't sweat it. In order for the zombies to reach CONUS, they will have to swim. Luckily, sharks will most likely get the zombies en route to the US coast.

Now if the sharks turn into zombies...there is good news and bad news. Tucson is not currently an area that is swarming with sharks. That's the good news. Now for the bad news, if global warming is real and the rising sea levels flood your AO with zombie sharks, then you are seriously f#*ked.

Think about it, zombies are man-eating, walking-dead, hard-to-kill badasses and sharks are just plain killing machines, so Zombie Sharks would essentially be like having an ocean full of mad, flesh eating, Chuck Norrises.

I feel that what we really have to worry about is a man made desease, say the splicing of rabies and ebola, add in maybe something to increase the incubation period and you have something really scary.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of 28 days later, bleeding from bodily orifices a la ebola and the mindless rage of rabies.

I have the book and have seen the movie I am Legend, wasn't as impressed to be honest. Although there were a few scenes in the movie that really hit me, The main character slowing losing grasp of reality from isolation and the hard time he had interacting with the other uninfected people. That was kind of how I felt when I came home from Iraq in regards to my family.

I am legend was based on the book, titled the same. The movie was not as good as the book. Movie was zombies book vampires. Movie girl is good, book she is a highly evolved vampire in which causes his death in the end.

The Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price was the first movie based on the book. It came out in 61 I believe.

I am Legend was written by Richard Matheson a great author and I think your right on the movie Last Man on Earth was the first. The book was written in the 50s

the best thing is to have a plan, and get a truck like a dump truck to go out in cause u can do so much damage with one of those and it still keeps goin. i personaly think if this were to happen that it would be a man made discease

We had a near-miss last year with the H1Z1 strain, and the recent earthquake may just go full-blown, especially considering the propensity of voodoo worship among the recently undead. Per the above post, if they learn to swim and somehow mutate into a voodoo zombie shark, we've got a serious problem on our hands.

Wife and I looked at the rampaging looter and mob action post event in Haiti and thought shit, there's a zombie invasion situation right there. I doubt cities here would be much different if there were an EMP or oil were cut off. Crazy.
