Boulder, Lafyette, Louisville Colorado Pass 6 new gun laws - other considering for now.

FYI,

Last night in coordination 3 towns I know of passed 6 new gun control ordinances.

Supported by Giffords Foundation, Everytown against Gun Violence and Moms Demand Action (they were thanked in slides by Boulder) all 3 towns passed the same ordinances.

On the fence (still considering) are Longmont, Superior and Boulder County. These are the ones identified in the slides presented by the City Attorney of City of Boulder.

Basically these are what passed:

1. Assault Weapon Ban
2. Magazine Capacity Limit to 10 rounds
3. 10 Day waiting period for purchase of a firearm
4. Bump Stock ban
5. Ghost Gun bad
6. Carry (Concealed and Open) prohibited in public spaces (some differing limits)
7. Required Signage indicating your life is in danger if you possess a firearm in the home
8. Restrict possession of any firearm by anyone under age of 21

I don't have all the details and the implementation date is unknown currently - but this is a nutshell what was passed.

Interesting was that these citys worked hard to keep these under the radar until they were ready to pass them. I only found out about the opportunity to speak 1 hour before the deadline. Still Joe Naguse was able to coordinate speaking to the city council of Boulder, along with 3 State congress people who applauded the work of the city to stuff this through.

If you live in Colorado this will soon be headed your direction, and the state is hard at work trying to pass this at the state level.

We are already working on the Federal challenge. If you know someone who is 18-20 years old lives in one of the cities above and would like to be a part of a Federal challenge to the city, please PM me. They need to be able to pass a background check and be a valid possessor...

9mm lung removers

In a collaberation with our friends over at Fort Scott, we've come up with these limited edition 9mm 115gr "Blood Eagle Lung-Removers" to commemarate one of the most assinine things any president has ever stated. These 115gr 9mm TUI (Tumble Under Impact) rounds, unlike our current President, are no joke. “

Made me laugh brighten my day a bit.

Pro-abortionist caught attempting to murder Kavanaugh...

So, this is an interesting development. In case you don't want to hand out free clicks, a nutter was nabbed just outside of Kavanaugh's property with a gun who had said he was on the way to kill him. His reasoning was the Roe vs Wade thing.

I think its interesting how hardcore the marxist left are pushing the court. I'm pretty sure its going to severely bias the court against the left due to the reduction of legitimacy of their position.

A smart court won't want to be seen to be giving in to terrorism - its why violence is pretty much always a terrible idea when trying to influence public policy. The answer is usually "Fuck You!" not "oh..you are willing to be violent?...sorry, here is the thing you wanted..." Even more liberal justices will have a hard time pushing their agenda in the face of the appearance of appeasement.

Way to go, nutters.

Supreme Court says NOPE to 4th Amendment

So the USSC has doubled down on a desire to divorce itself from disciplining the enforcement arm of our government.

TLDR - A guy who runs an inn on the border traffics a lot of illegal immigrants...which he reports to CBP. A CBP agent showed up at his place to confront a suspect and proceeded to beat the crap of the informant. The guy complained. Then the CBP agent called the IRS to have them audit the inn owner and...reported his vanity license plate to the state in retaliation.

The USSC's opinion is that they can't intervene because its congresses job to create a system to determine if these agencies have violated a persons constitutional rights...

Lets say that out loud again - a constitutional court (a system for determining if the government has trespassed upon the constitutional rights of a person ) has said that congress will have to create a system to determine if they have trespassed upon the constitutional rights of a person and then enforce action...against themselves. Against the agencies they created.

Dr. What the Fuck?, you are needed in exam room 12.

Armed Texas Man Says Cops Stopped Him From Confronting Shooter Outside School

"Both of them safely escaped the spray of gunfire that was fired at them, he said, allowing Briseno to retrieve his own gun from his wife and charge after the shooter. That’s when a police officer stopped him.

“Hey, what are you going?” he recalled the officer asking him. He told the officer that he was going to stop the gunman and pointed out that the suspect was already inside the school. He was instead told to stay back and shut up.

“I feel guilty man, because I couldn’t stop (him),” Briseno said. In the days after, Briseno said he’s helped bury five children that were killed in the attack."

These bullets were purchased new some years ago and removed from their Sierra cardboard boxes and subsequently packed loose in ammo cans for long term storage. Lots may have been mixed when this was done, so you may see some base-to-ogive variance. Bullets will ship in poly bags inside securely taped flat rate boxes. Thanks again to everyone who has ordered!!

SOLD WTT/WTS Manners TCS with Extras Sage Flats

I am swapping to Foundation and would like to either sell this or trade. This will work with any Short action 700 footprint, including rimfires.

Its a TCS in Sage Flats. It has knobs on both the cheek piece and LOP adjustment. Has the 419 Rail full of Brass weights. This is a picture from earlier in the year.

This has been my PRS stock for the last year so it has some wear but overall really great condition.

The only trades would be for a Foundation Centurion/MG2 for an Impact 737SA and accessories(BM, arca rail, weights).

Price is $1550.

Will the Supreme Court put a stake through the heart of gun control?

By Frank Friday

The irony is rich. Old Joe Biden, floundering in the polls and needing a distraction, seized on the recent mass shootings to launch a gun control push. Many conservatives are panicked by his talk of an "assault weapons" ban, whatever that means, and outlawing all 9mm ammunition.

Yet, without any compromise on badly needed school safety provisions, it is hard to see even modest federal gun restrictions going forward. In fact, the Republican proposal is starting to look like no more than what McConnell, and even Trump, was offering the Dems in 2019. Meanwhile, the constitutional conservatives on the Supreme Court are going to hand down another important decision on self-defense and the Second Amendment.
The looming SCOTUS decision everyone knows about is the expected overturning of Roe v. Wade in the Dobbs case. But also coming this June is the Bruen case, which should strike down the granddaddy of all American gun control laws: New York's 1911 Sullivan Act. Sullivan was a corrupt Tammany Hall politician, and there are many scholars who think Sullivan's motives in essentially disarming law-abiding citizens of their pistols was to make life easier for his many criminal compatriots.
The Sullivan Act is a discretionary permit law, allowing the police arbitrary power to decide to whom they issue a pistol permit. In New York City, for example, it's often been easy to get one if you are wealthy or famous, like Robert De Niro. Yet ordinary people who live and work in dangerous neighborhoods are routinely denied gun permits, like the plaintiffs in Bruen.

When this case is decided, there will of course be the usual gnashing of teeth by the gun-grabbers, who will shriek about how the Second Amendment is not a personal right, and it's just for members of a state militia.

This argument was annihilated several years ago by Prof. Volokh in his 1996 article "The Commonplace Second Amendment," where he shows that the Second Amendment enshrines a right of the people individually: "Early Kentucky, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Vermont Bills of Rights speak of 'the right of the people to bear arms.' Since these provisions secure rights against the state governments, they must recognize a right belonging to someone other than the state or entities whose membership is defined by the state — this likewise suggests that 'the right of the people to bear arms' refers to a right of individuals."
The Kentucky state constitutional language, written just a year after the U.S. Bill of Rights, by men who were friends and colleagues of Madison and the other Virginia framers, is particularly on point: "[t]he rights of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned."

Furthermore, the "militia clauses" of the original U.S. Constitution give the Congress extensive powers over the organization and training of the state militias. If the Second Amendment was somehow intended by such oblique phrases to then modify this power of Congress, it is all but impossible to see how.
The real meaning of a "well regulated" militia, as used by 18th-century Americans, means much more than just a well trained and equipped military force. It is a political concept that assumes an armed populace as an integral part of society and good government. Both American and English patriots were deep admirers of the Swiss model of militia. Diplomat Abraham Stanyan even wrote in 1714 that the "Swiss have a ... well regulated Militia ... that may overturn a Government at Pleasure."
After Bruen, I don't expect the people of New York and other high-crime blue states to literally overturn their governments. But they could work a quiet revolution of sorts. Law-abiding citizens would finally be able to readily defend themselves from the predators who lurk about their streets. Ordinary people in big cities could take charge of their own safety and that of their neighborhoods by carrying licensed firearms. A real sense of civic pride and responsibility could form, where today there is none.

That seems like a much more effective way to protect society from its worst elements than BLM folks and their solution for violent crime: call 911 to summon a squad car full of social workers

Hope springs eternal!

Childhood Memories... Share If You'd Like.

I know I'm old. I know we are in another time. But I had a flood of memories come back to me from my childhood years.

How many remember going into your dad's old coffee can full of new and used nails? Leaving the new ones and picking the bent used nails? Then you go outside and bang them onto concrete or another wooden board? Then you could use them to build that skateboard. The one where you used a broken pair of skates to build the wheels on the 2x4 piece of wood.

Anyone still have their skate key???
