If you need a place to start, here is what i wrote. It probably has some misspelling or improper use of commas, but my screen is small, my keyboard sucks, I wrote it in one setting, and my eyes aren't what they used to be:


Although there are many firearm components that are often reviewed and come under scrutiny that I do not own, I am displeased that at the incessant continual changes in rulings as a whim of opinion; often fueled by uninformed and biased information stated as of late. Beyond the many " shall not be infringed" comments that are sure to be given, I'd like to point to Article I, Section 9, Clause 3:

"No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.

Both federal and state governments are prohibited from enacting ex post facto laws, and the Court applies the same analysis whether the law in question is a federal or a state enactment."
Many rulings have been meted out, (often unconstitutionally in one form or another as laws are not to be set by nameless corporations, special interests, unelected officials, etc.) Yet somehow an Agency has usurped the ability to dictate what legally purchased personal property is allowed to be utilized for its intended purpose, and what is not with the changing of the seasons.
And in a sudden rush of decision against a grip angle, sling, "furniture" component, etc can make law abiding citizens, many of whom utilize their own time, finances, and resources in training to become defenders of our nation as future soldiers, police officers, and security personnel outside your own offices- into criminals. Many unacquainted and unable to complete the paperwork and legalities of an ever changing mark drawn with the blowing of the wind. This, thereby creates additional tumults of opinions, frustration, and distrust of the decisions given amongst the populace.
We, the people need a check and balance seen in the decisions up and coming. We desire, and demand the liberty and freedom granted as safeguards against overreaching faction in Government, and appreciate the open sessions of comment taking such as this to voice our concerns.
To many, all nfa rulings are taxation without representation. In a civil society there is always a balancing act of liberty and security, and as such many of the nfa rulings have come to pass. Some rulings should be overturned as their effects do not meet the reasoning behind their intent (suppressors for example. More of a medical device and safety device than an item grouped in with rate of fire and explosive devices.) However, I concede that some review of industry equipment warrants deep considerations especially as technology continues to innovate and advance.
However, a ruling against an accesory- a piece of hardware such as a pistol brace does not alter the firing rate, velocity, or ballistics of a weapon it is placed on. Making a brace an nfa item would further illegitimise the nfa list itself, and negatively effect countless millions of otherwise upright and law following citizens of our nation. If choosing to do so, it would show the general callous and disregard for our laws, articles, and open comments given, and an autonomous, despotic, and factious serving state of governance. May we all bridge the gap and show give and take in these rulings. Allowing reason over passions and special interest groups.

Gunwerks New Rangefinder




I will have a video coming but I have been using the new Gunwerks Rangefinder for a few months now and I have to say, Wow, what an impressive unit.

It's insanely fast, and super accurate even on small targets. I was able to range an individual Cow on the range in the bright Colorado sun out to 1800 and when I do the video I am gonna try to get one farther because I think I can do it. It's that good.

The unit is an entire weather meter, connects to your phone no problem, and has a smaller reticle to hone in on small targets.

The refresh rate is insanely fast, and its software for ballistics is solid.

I will have more soon, world events got in my way again, but man is this unit worth the time.

I just got a new AR15 DMR with a stainless/nitride Criterion barrel and I’m excited to see how far I reach-out. Looking for recommendations on the best cope for an AR15 that will be used at both close-range and distances up to 500 yards. Price range is ~$1000 with first focal plane, illuminated reticle.

I’m considering the new Athlon Ares ETR 1-10x24, but haven’t seen one or gotten any feedback yet. It checks all the boxes, except that I would prefer exposed turrets and fully illuminated Christmas tree.
I also have an opportunity for a good deal on a Sig Tango6 2-12x40. That has exposed/locking turrets and very nice glass, but is heavy and has a rather narrow field of view. I considered this same scope for a recent AR10 build, but went in a different direction there…

So, looking for feedback on those scopes or other options for ~$1000 or less. I appreciate the insight many of you have provided in the past!

I have a home built AR10 6.5 creedmore. The gun shoots great with factory loads and with my reloads with new brass. The problem comes in when I reload the once fired brass. The gun just goes click and I have force the shell to eject. I have taken a micrometer to the brass both new, factory and the once fired brass. Every measuring point is the same across the board. I would be pulling my hair out by now if I had any. Any and all comments and recommendations appreciated.

The man killed was my counter part in the same agency, just in another region, about 3.5 hrs south of me. Same age as me and, like me, was getting ready to retire next year.

Democrats have been mad since we freed their slaves. When some of their former property goes off the plantation and dares to think, speak or live outside of the bounds they place on African Americans, the left lashes out.

Currently, Allen West is running for governor of Texas and this makes leftist, racists mad as hell. So they targeted his wife and grandchildren and arrested a perfectly sober woman for drunk driving. They promptly notified the media and did victory laps for catching a grandmother driving drunk with her grandson in the car. They denied him even the most modest courtesy offered any former congressman.

Turns out his wife was perfectly sober and now they are gloating that he got "justice" and she was "presumed innocent" and thus is free to go. Of course they did not contact the media to retract their previous shitshow.

The lesson here is plain and simple. That "thin blue line" we are all supposed to support is not our friend. They will do the bidding of their masters and they will gladly use the law to entrap and abuse anyone they please. They are willing to do the most racist and subversive crap for political gain and to insure their leftist party bosses have the ability to menace, terrorize and intimidate people who they disagree with.

There seem to be quite a few that say you follow orders no matter what. I wonder how many of these "officers" in our military have a conscious, especially those that watched at the airport as Americans were at the gate wanting to board waiting planes. I wish that the roles were reversed. How do you live with yourself?

According to reports, at least three planes were waiting and left empty on orders from the state dept,as Americans stood outside the gate. Now we are getting reports that those genius' were actively calling other countries and telling them to refuse private contractor landings of rescued Americans. This per David Barton of the Nazarene Fund that actively funded flights and logistics to get Americans out.

The least these gutless officers could have done is arm these Americans so they would have some kind of chance. Now they are in the hands of terrorists.
