Suppressors Need help with suppressor understanding

I have a Q Thunder Chicken in jail at the moment. When I decided on this model I didn't realize the Cherry Bomb mount(s) didn't have wrench flats. Am I married to the Cherry Bomb mount(s) or can I use another type of mount for this suppressor that preferably has wrench flats? Looking for a 1/2-28 mount for my AR-15 and 5/8-24 for my bolt gun. Can I use something like a Xeno brake? If so, would I just get the Xeno brake, remove the factory flash hider from my AR-15, install the Xeno, and then install the suppressor?

I read the directions for my Q Thunder Chicken about using Rocksette, and it might work perfectly, but I would really feel better if the mount had wrench flats to hopefully help stave off the mount from getting stuck in the suppressor.

Vudoo barrel questions

I'm on the verge of finally getting a Vudoo rifle. Barrel wise, I was wondering what other's have bought.

1. Which contour did you get?
2. What length did you get?
3. Bartlein or Ace
4. Threaded or not?

Are you happy with your choices? What would you do different?

Another question is, does the Bartlein 22 lr have cut rifling like their centerfire barrels are?

I'll be use a B&A Tac Sport Pro trigger. Can anyone tell me which size upper sear is needed?

Please hit somewhere good!

A giant asteroid hitting, say, Delaware would be so awesome!

Changes to Canada gun laws, effective May 18, 2022

https://www.canada.ca/en/public-saf...-better-regulate-non-restricted-firearms.html
Highlight:
Effective May 18, 2022, individuals and businesses transferring or selling a non-restricted firearm will need to confirm the recipient’s identity and check the validity of their firearms licence with the Registrar of Firearms prior to completing the transfer, including by providing the recipient’s licence number and any other information requested. The new rule will help prevent people who are not allowed to have a firearm from getting one.
Firearms businesses will also be required to retain sales and inventory records related to non-restricted firearms, as was the case until 2005. This will make it easier for law enforcement to trace crime guns. The records will be held by businesses — not government — and the police will need reasonable grounds to get access to them, often with judicial authorization.

Firearms Remington 40X Titanium Long Action for sale. Only 9 made….RARE!!!

I have for sale an ultra rare Remington 40X Titanium BDL repeater long action. It has an 06’ bolt face so it would be perfect for a 280 AI or something similar. It has never been built into a rifle and Remington never sold these to the public. I was able to purchase a few while working at the Custom Shop during the last days of Remington. Only 9 of these were ever made. I have already sold 2 and this is my last one. I won’t ever build a rifle on it so it needs a good home. I am asking 1500.00 shipped to your FFL. It comes with all of the small parts needed minus the trigger. USPS money order or certified check only please. Shipping to the lower 48 only. This is your chance to own an extremely rare piece of Remington history.

Thanks for looking.

HoOdRaT 2.0 The winter project lives...

New engine program for this year. Bigger holes, more squeeze, and more boost.

Tigging up the coolant ports on the heads as I went to copper head gaskets and top fuel rings. With ARP CA625 head studs, this should manage the 12.5:1 static compression and 40psi boost. The block is now completely hard-filled. No coolant passages remain.

Hoping for low 5-second 1/8 mile passes with an IRS rear end on a 10.5 wide slick. All steel car at 3400lbs. A tall order, but it'll be fun to try.

PRS Talk How important is a wider flat bottom

I picked up a bergara bmp for my first match and it shoots really well. Overall I like it very much but I’m conscerned about how not wide the bottom flat is. Maybe an inch, then it’s angled like a octagon to the flat sides
E9924244-C1A3-4F2A-AEC8-FBFD9CE1B716.jpeg

You can see it some in this photo, the bottom flat is only as wide as say a pic rail section for my bipod.

Because of this it seems a little tippy when I’m my ag bag side to side.

I have a habit of overly concentrating on small gear issues. So far my only idea is to get a 12” arca rail and arca to pic adapter for my bipod, so that’s an extra 230$

Is that worth it before my first match or should I just wait and shoot the thing and see how much it holds me back?

And just like that, I got turned off on Yellowstone.

A lot of it is still Hollywood bullshit, like breaking a horse one day and turning it into a kid's horse the next, but I thought it was one of the best series ever, surpassing Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, with it's accurate portrayal of California Leftists and other progressive communist trash invading Montana.

Then the end of Season 2 and the kidnapping of the grandson. He was being held by...gasp, a "militia"! You know, one of those radical white supremacist groups mentioned in the Constitution and targeted by Chris Wallace in the second presidential debate.

Kevin Costner obviously still has his lips tightly sealed around the cocks of the Hollywood brainwashers and they even reached down and pinched his nose in that final episode when they showed militia members of course equipped with night vision and thermals and like a cult of body snatchers in the Walking Dead. They were sure to show a "Don't Tread on Me" flag and creepy militia members running out of the shadows, getting smoked by a bunch of cowboys like they were the possessed demons in the movie Legion.

I'm not sure I want to see Season 3. I'm disgusted.

Please Help Find Vets

Hi everyone.

My dad died earlier tonight. Back in '67-'68 (iirc) he was at Camp Casey, South Korea, with the 7th ID.

I'm looking for people who might've known him or remember him, either in Korea or Fort McClellan (he was there afterward), or at the US Army Corps of Engineers 'cause he worked there for a few decades after leaving the Army.

I don't want to name names publicly right yet, so if you might be able to help, PM me and I'll give you his name. If there's another way of finding folks, leave a suggestion in the comments, please.

Thanks,
S.o.D

Firearms WTS/WTT Surgeon Rifles CSR with Nightforce ATACR 4-20 TREMOR3

Surgeon Rifles 308 CSR with NF ATACR 4-20 TREMOR3 (new) in a badger mount. With 3 10rd mags. Unfortunately selling this to finish out some other projects/put more money towards a house. Literally an amazing rifle. Action so smooth you’ll need new jeans after feeling it. I’ve shot it out to 700 with zero issues hitting anything at all. Sub moa rifle all day long with maybe 100 rounds through it. Will come with everything you see plus 3 mags. If someone wants just the rifle I will sell it alone and the scope separate but I will not part the scope until the rifle sells. Ideally I’d like to sell or trade the whole unit as a package. Asking $7500 shipped for the package, or $4650 for the rifle and mags, and $2900 for the scope and mount. I will entertain high end trades and cash. KAC, HK, maybe a TP9, or rare WW2 stuff.

Colt Delta Gold Cup 10mm value

THIS IS NOT FOR SALE! I’m looking for a value for an estate.

It was made in 1990, purchased, then sent to the Colt Custom Shop for the following.

Buff to bright stainless finish

Install upswept grip safety with commander style hammer

Checker mainspring housing and front of grip frame

Install double diamond rosewood grips with medallion ( still have original delta grips)

Adjust tolerances to minimum specs

Don‘t have a Colt letter, but do have the receipts from the Colt Custom Shop

It has been shot, but is in excellent condition

What is a fair value?

Thanks
