Is it the Chairman K size ?I get frequent migraines and headaches (have one now) so Im not the best judge on that. I pretty much have a headache at every match but not sure if its from blast or just me.
The MAV is much more pleasant than any brake out there. I know it meters close to bare muzzle DB reduction but its a suppressor and controls the blast very well.
Another option is BOSS. I shot a match a few weeks ago with a guy running one. I was SUPER impressed by the sound, blast and recoil reduction of it. I legit thought he was shooting a suppressed .223 as the gun didn't move when he shot and was so quiet. Turns out he was shooting a dasher. The owner was at the match and after talking to him I ordered one. IMO its one of the better braked cans I have been around and liked it so much I decided to order one. Its sitting at my FFL now.
Its cheaper than the MAV, in stock unlike the mav, cheaper than the TBAC RR and wait time is MUCH shorter. Its a titanium and stainless can so its pretty light as well. Its only a 1.5" can so its amazing how well it performs for its size. I think the MAGNUS RR is just too big and the brake is too big for these small 6 mm BR based cartridges. The smaller can handles it much better and uses the gas to keep muzzle rise down much more efficiently.

It is kinda annoying but I guess it depends on how deep you want to get into it. I have an excel spreadsheet for all my loads so I import the Garmin CSV files into the spreadsheet, convert text to numbers and link it to the appropriate sheet.Am I the only one that's growing tired of the multiple steps it takes to get raw data from the Garmin, into usable Excel format? I'm just finding it tedius to email raw data to myself, pull it from emal to CSV in Excel, and the massage the data strings to not error out and allow me to build charts and analytical views? I mean ... I'm no fan of the "Big Orange Brick" (LabRadar), but I have to say that pulling the SD card from the unit, sucking it into a spreadsheet where it was immediately formatted and available for use ... was WAY better than the multi-step gyrations the Garmin requires.
Am I alone?
I appreciate the input man. Honestly, I can't even find any KAC rifles in stock anywhere so that may rule that one out anyways. I haven't called them to see how long of a wait it would be. JP told me about 13 weeks for a complete build on a ctr-02. I'm just going to go that route to be honest. I'm hoping I won't have buyers remorse lol. I'll keep you guys updated on it.
Its amazing how many people have zero idea, That the trade imbalance with China has funded not only the build up of China's military. But we have funded their growth economically in every aspect of their country. Including funding their expansion into Africa and south America. We are the main source of China's middle class expansion! All at the cost of our own middle class. Not to mention our national security. We have literally financed China becoming a world power!
A lot of people these days will buy their Dogs and Cats from shelters rather than breeders. They get a RFID chip there and registered into database.millions of animals probably get chipped each year. It’s a good thing and might help get your pet back. We got ours chipped at the local animal shelter for $25, with no monthly/yearly fees.
I’m sorry you had a bad experience. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
this seems to point out serious collusion by several gov employees. my daughter,as a rather smart CPA,handled all the details when both my parents died. she said that a timely return to SocSec of any payments received after their deaths was essential and carefully monitored. so,seems that if this has been going on (no surprise) then there must be significant collusion by many SocSec bureaucrats. again,no surprise but a need for deep investigation and sever punishment.
Big dogs require real owners. Period.
Man, I had a 96lb, mostly Iab mix turn on my wife in her clinic Monday for zero reason. The dog's owner (older lady, probably late 60s) couldn't control it. But to be fair, she did say it tried to attack the last vet.
So I was close already and grabbed that MF up and got my hand under and around the back of his collar and twisted it while locking my arms out as he was lunging towards ne now...basically making a tourniquet or collar choke. I smashed his face into the floor and just held him there until his eyes started to roll before I loosened my grip. Then I just kept him down as he got his shots. I gave him a few pets afterwards as he was coming back from the shadow realm, and assured his owner that "he must have just been really frightened"...total BS, but it's bad for business to go around choking dogs out.
Anyway, he has a note bext to his record for aggression...and the only way I'll let them come back is if we get to sedate him right off the bat.
No way should he belong to that woman though. He's a liability.
