The other thing I remember was when focused at high to mid power, then either zooming up or down required a re-focus. So a focus at one power did not focus at all of the other powers, if you changed magnification you were forced to re-focus.

As I got one of the first production 6-36's I wonder if perhaps it had issues and has said issues been cleared up?

If you're ever looking for sodas that you are not geographically located for, check different Ace Hardware stores or ranch supply stores. I can find Cheerwine in an Ace near me along with Cicero Beverage stuff from Chicago. I can get Abita root beer (from Louisiana) in Cal Ranch. For awhile there my local grocery store (non chain) had Boots (from Texas) coconut cream. This is all in Utah.

Current Surgeon vs AI Action

AI and Surgeon are completely different. The newer Surgeons are no different then the old OK ones. Each Surgeon I’ve measured was easily within a .0005” in bolt face to receiver face from each other. I’d say for a Remington clone action they’re still a tank and really no different then other Remington clones like them, except for some features. AI actions aren’t even close to being similar though. Those actions are real tanks. You’re stuck to the AI platform though.
