My AXSR 37 XC barrel is finally up and running after a 2 year wait.. almost 1 year waiting on the Bartlein modBB blank, shipped 2 blanks halfway across the country only to have them sit at a smiths for a year, ended up having them shipped back to me.. $150 wasted in shipping cost 😡…..

Than hand delivered my blank to Greg at SPR aka Bugholes along with my JGS custom 37XC CEB reamer. SPR crew knocked this barrel out of the park. 4 week turn around time.. Huge shout out to Greg/Russ @ Bugholes.. View attachment 8745351View attachment 8745352View attachment 8745353
32’’ barrel ? 1-8 twist? 1.350’’ shank HV contour, I presume.

LaRue MBT is still an option at $115?

I like my triggers like DBD likes his wimmen... fat as you can get.

Seriously, I own (6) Larue MBT-2S, (3) Geissele SSA-E, and (1) Geissele SSA. The SSA-E is a tad nicer feeling and feels about 20% lighter (if that is your thing). I don't think 95% of the population could tell the difference between the SSA and MBT-2S if they were blindfolded.

I have almost zero experience with the stuff from other manufacturers, but I hear that there are a few other good options out there.

I grew up shooting smaller-level matches on the east coast with standard military triggers. It is the Indian a lot more than the arrow.
My dad is not an AR guy. But, he asked me to put together a box of parts he inherited from his brother. I brought him 4 ARs to try the triggers on. I gave them to him in no particular order, did not tell him what they were, what they cost, or what my preferences are. I had a Rock River National Match, a Geissele G2S, an Geisssle SSA-E, and a nicely broke in mil-spec trigger. It was no question that the SSA-E was the winner. He didn’t what it cost; just said “buy it and bill me.”

I have been down this path and confirmed that glyphosate which is on our wheat and other foods, was causing me a few health issues. Once I cut it out, all my issues went away.

Now some people in my orbit that witnessed my success have cut it out and it is solving some of their issues too.
Only about 25% of the national wheat crop even gets a pre-harvest shot of roundup (glyphosate).

Wouldn't doubt if it's even less than that to be honest.

Were you eating locally sourced bread milled from grain you know had a pre-harvest dose?

It's a popular thing to bash, but a majority of people spouting off about its "dangers" really don't know what it's used for.

Not saying you don't know @atomic41, just in general.

how do you cut round up out of your food? aggressive washing? "organic" only-if labeling is truth-LOL? delete grain? most veg from mass market stores likely have roundup on/in them.

Zeiss Pro Series Tripods just Landed

Frank, does that V60 trailer hitch ball head have easily adjustable tension on the arca clamp lever? I have 4 different brands of arca rails in use and while they all claim to be made to the RRS spec they all need different tension adjustments on my anvil 30, lol

Just noticed the Zeiss HD inverted tripod is 44mm leg diameter and 3 sections which is a configuration Leofoto doesn't offer in their own lineup yet (I believe Leofoto first did the 44mm inverted 3 section legs for T3, correct me if I'm wrong.) Interested in how the legs extend in the 3 section inverted as it only looks like a single twist lock in the pics.
