Suppressors New TBAC cans for 2024

It might not be that bad. I used a cert on Aug 27th for an Ultra 7 - estimated lead time was quoted as 6/2/25-9/14/25. It shipped to the local ffl on 2/12 and I already have the stamp and can in hand. I don't know the reasons behind why it was so much sooner than quoted but I'm certainly not complaining.
I got an Ultra 9 sooner than quoted but I also got a 22 Takedown that missed the quoted deadline.

I would expect it to ship towards the end of their estimated lead time. If it ships sooner great.

MILE HIGH SHOOTING

Any idea when these are coming back in stock?

Call MH directly and speak w/ a salesman. They should be able to sell you one and when it arrives from TBac, it will automatically ship. MH and TBac have a very close relationship and MH generally gets OOS products first.

URSA NorCal - match rescheduled to Saturday, March 29, 2025

URSA NorCal - match rescheduled to Saturday, March 29, 2025

Location
– Clear Lake area (same as prior, coordinates 39°14'21.0"N 122°50'50.0"W)

Setup will be done late Saturday or early Sunday morning by our NorCal crew. Target(s) will be in place at minimum 2000 yards. IRIS hit-indicators will be in place and be the sole control for official hits and misses. The initial target distance for NorCal is 2147 yards, all California-legal firearms and ammunition are allowed, no weight restrictions, and no fees.

The Match Director will decide how many shooters need to be signed up to move forward with this event. Unless the event is formally cancelled (as announced on this and other posting sites), assume it is going forward.

IF you want to shoot multiple rifles, you need to complete a registration for each one. If you expect to be shooting with us more than once, I suggest you do yourself a favor and build a text file in your word processor and then just copy and paste. NOTE: IF you seriously think you will score 5 in 10 or better, please DO take the time to enter ALL the info requested in the Build Sheet section - will save me e-mailing you to get missing info and hasten getting results posted on the URSA site (News and Stats pages) and the non-Cal Guns sites. Thanks.

If you want to shoot this event, you MUST sign up ONLINE (see below). Registrations MUST be received no later than 1 PM the day before the event. There will be NO onsite registrations. Registration is required for all shooters, spotters, and anyone that will be on or in the general proximity of the shooting line. NO exceptions!

The URSA Official Course of Fire is at FAQ 13, near the bottom of this page on the URSA website - https://www.unlimitedrange.org/operations.html All shooter should review the course of fire prior to arriving at the venue. Substantial additional data regarding URSA events are included on the same web page.

Sign-Ups: URSA uses the online program, Zoho Forms, to capture shooter Liability Releases and Build Sheet data, and spotter/other Liability Releases – Liability Releases are signed and dated at the event. Please use the appropriate link at the top of the Activity/Event Schedule page (http://www.unlimitedrange.org/activity event schedule.html). If you have any problem with the online form, please e-mail me ASAP ([email protected]). BTW, the form asks for limited “address” info (only city, state, and ZIP), we do NOT need your street address.

Well i bought a dnt tnc335

I'm put together a semi cheap night hunting set up, I went with the 335 thermnight. Now I got to get a gun, looking at the Patriot arms 223, was going to do 22arc or 6arc, but I have killed deer, hogs, yotes, and everything in between with 223, shooting either federal 69gr mk or hornady 75gr match, and i got pretty good stock pile of it.

I’ll chime in to say that your glasses breaking the cup seal (gel or no gel) seems to degrade the NRR much more than it would seem.

I’ve got a post on here to that effect. I found a study done about that fact. I’ll see if I can find it.
I have little choice but to wear glasses with ear protection, but have found that gel ear cups with a relief cut for glasses are a big help. Like these:

Hearing protection active muffs in 2025

I was all set on buying some Ops Core + their fancy NFMI plugs, but I read some comments on a YT vid that suggest that the headsets are fragile (I know, I know, YT comments veracity).

Since the unit is over $1k, that gave me some pause…but the manufacturer promises a high NRR (or SNR?) rating while being able to hear much better than regular doubling up.

I also own a pair with the NFMI plugs. I did have a pair that needed to be sent back within the first year. No issues after that. I will admit that it made me nervous though on the longevity of them. Prior to that I had a pair of Sordins for 12 years with zero issues.

Victoria Venus Pro 22lr Reviews?

Yeah the 26" APR is the other higher end rifle I was looking at, but again importing one in time is not likely to happen.

I wasn't thrilled with the XRS chassis being the only option but an ACC version would be fantastic. Unfortunately exports from Germany are extremely slow so unlikely I'll be able to get one in time.
26'' APR uses a skinny barrel like one that was used on 64MPR , 21'' uses 28mm straight
