Up for sale is a long action manners LRH. It’s sitting around without an action to put in it, so I might as well sell it before I decide to buy another action. I filed a notch (hole) in the bolt cutout on the cheek piece to make more clearance for my bolt to run all the way back. In the end it wasn’t necessary as I changed my ring height, but there’s a notch in there, see pics for reference. It’s just on the cheek piece part not the actual stock. I’m sure manners would provide a new one if needed but it doesn’t affect anything being there.

Many people have issues with their mounting plates coming loose. They blame it on loctite. But I have a theory:

The slide has 3 threaded holes. Some plates utilize two of the holes. The latest Dawson plate uses all 3. I think the CHPWS plate uses all three as well.

I just installed a FCD plate on my Staccato P. The plate is extremely well made and fits the slide perfectly. The problem is the supplied screws. The plate screws are too long and they touch the extractor in the extractor tunnel. That screw needs to be shortened otherwise the plate will not be tight against the slide. In my case I measured the screw protrusion and the depth of the hole in the slide and they were identical. I shortened the screw .025” and it was flush with the ceiling of the extractor tunnel.

The opposite threaded hole did not cause issues. However the bottom of the hole is sealed. This causes a problem in that air pressure pushes the loctite out around the screw head so you don’t get complete coverage around the threads.

If you install the plate as is the left screw doesn’t have enough loctite to properly retain it and the right screw gets hammered loose by the extractor wiggling around every time it grabs a case.

I think it is a good idea, if using blue loctite, to apply it to the threads in the left threaded hole in the slide with a paper clip. Or to use red loctite extremely sparingly. The right screw needs to be checked for clearance otherwise it will work itself loose.

The sight screw’s supplied by FCD were incorrect as well. The head diameter was too big so I ended up using the Trijicon screws that came with the RMR. Again, I had to modify the length because the short ones were too short (2threads engaged) and the long ones protruded .050” out the bottom of the plate.

The install was a bit of a pain but everything looks good. I hope someone reading this gets something out of it.

The rifle and scope both in excellent condition. The rifle has a 20" 308 threaded barrel (5/8 x 24). It has a TiggerTech primary trigger, and a Dead Air brake installed. Otherwise the rifle is untouched. Looked new to me when I bought it a while ago and I only sighted in the scope. The scope is an older version of the Zeiss Conquest MC 6.5-20 with Schott glass. It's an excellent scope for hunting or target shooting (second focal plane).

Hey boys,

I’ve been shooting PRS for about 2 years now. So far, I’ve always ran a full size direct thread suppressor on 6.5 caliber rifles.

So I’ve got a Surefire 762mini that I don’t use much on gas guns, and I like the minimal length it adds to a full length bolt gun. The level of sound suppression isn’t as good as a full size can, but with ear protection, it’s not bad. The other advantage over my direct thread is that my thread on can always seems to work loose between stages.

Just wanted to get the thoughts of the guys running cans in comps. Is there a major disadvantage with running a compact can vs full size at matches?

I'm listing this for a close friend whose father recently passed away. This type of rifle may not get much traction here but I offered to try and help him out with it.

Krieghoff Classic with 2 barrels - one chambered in 375 H&H and the other is .470 Nitro express. This gun is unfired new condition (other than factory testing) and built in 2002. All documentation is complete and add on accessories included. Asking 25k after speaking with Krieghoff and seeing this would cost 31K today.

Quick question:
- I have a Mega MA-Ten. (This is built to the same spec height as the old high profile DPMS upper receiver - 3/16")
- I want to put a JP Modular Handguard on it, with 12 o'clock rail (matches up to the height of the new low profile DPMS upper deceiver - 1/8")
- This is, on paper a 1/16" difference. Will I be able to use Troy Folding Battle Sights on this? ie. Will the range of adjustment on the front sight post be enough to compensate for the height difference?

Getting harder to find now that they discontinued this color option and with this reticle option. I'm the second owner. All functions track / click and focus function great. Lenses are perfect with no scratches. Looks like some paint touchup was done somewhere along the line with the first owner but it's an exact match and VERY well done as it blends perfectly and is barely noticeable (see close-up photos) so I'm guessing factory by the first owner. One touched up nick in paint (see last photo) that you can just make out, is the most noticeable. Just selling because it's been sitting in the safe on a .308 rifle for years and doesn't get used.

Hey.
I've got a bipod extender that I made. Basically just some square tubing. I was running it on ARCA but am planning to switch it over to picatinny but I can't find a decent pic clamp that is quick release, needs to have a flat bottom, or relatively flat. Only ones I could find was a set on amazon and they are kinda crappy, we'll see how they work this weekend but I don't have much faith so looking for other options.

I might end up putting an Arca Loc rail on instead of the pic rail.

For sale is a new unfired Armalite AR10 308 National Match rifle made back in around 2010. I bought 2 of these some years back on the intention to use 1 with iron sights and the other with a scope. I am the original owner bought new. Barrel is a 10 twist, 20 inches long and threaded 5/8×24. These come with the National Match sights, detachable carry handle, with the detachable front sight post. It also came with another front sight post, extra different size aperture rear sights, sling attachment mounted on bottom of pic rail and extra front sight posts. Comes with the manual and 1 magazine. The fit of the upper and lower fit tight with no movement. The rifle is mint, never been apart or a round installed in the rifle unless it was test fired at the factory before leaving. It is as you see it when I got both and been stored in a safe since receiving them. You don't hardly ever see 1 of these come up for sale let alone unfired with everything that came with it.

With all of the companies coming out with 1280 or 1024 thermal scopes, has anyone heard anything about a next gen clip on coming out? I'm not talking about the new HISS or something that is mil/leo only. It seems strange that companies are still releasing new 640 clip on options (at great price points) but haven't heard a peep about a next generation option being around the corner.
