I'm trying to dial in my dope for next (regional) PRS season and was finally able to make it out to the range yesterday. I noticed when shooting further out my dope was off from my kestrel and things didn't line up until I set the G7 BC pretty high. My velocity seems accurate and lines up with what my Garmin is showing inside of 500-600. Has anyone else had to true their BC super high (.300+) for 105 hybrids?

Hello everyone, I have been hunting for a few years, but everything is relatively close inside of 150 yds here. I went to a range with steel out to 1200 for the first time this summer and loved shooting at distance. I have put together a tikka that I rebarreld with a proof barrel in 308 that I plan to take hunting out west this season.

I’ve recently come into several hundred Hornady 108 ELDM’s for my Dasher. I ran a few preliminary load tests with my Berger 108 load data and they shot fairly well. At 15 shots at a 600 yd F Class target, I cleaned it with only 4x’s in fairly good conditions. I returned to 100 yds and in Peterson brass I’m getting slight pressure signs. (Berger 108’s in Lapua show none) So, I started lowering the charge weight and am now in the .3’s looking at a lower accuracy mode. The ELDM’s with a significantly larger bearing surface, may be a contributing factor in the pressure signs, but I’m wondering what kind of jump these ELDM’s like? Any insight into these bullets is appreciated.
