SOLD WTT/WTS - FDE MDT ESS, 700 RH/SA for 700 RH/LA Stock

Have an ESS non-folder in FDE with an MDT vertical grip, has some minor wear from normal use. Looking to trade for a LA stock… Preferably a Manners with mini chassis, not too picky on which model, but an LRH would be nice.
Obviously would add some cash where needed.

Would also consider trading for a Remington 700 Long Action that has been trued, or a custom long action with Remington 700 tenon threads.

Less preferred, but would entertain a trade + cash on your end for a Bergara HMR stock with AICS bottom metal for a 700 short action.

Another odd ball trade option… I’m wanting a bolt action rifle chambered in .22 magnum. Not picky about manufacture. Prefer something newer with a scope base. Not looking for an expensive rifle, just a varmint rig.

Let me know what you got, and I’ll only be dealing with established members.

(Barreled action/bipod not included)

HORROR IN DULUTH MN: Devil worshipping father angry over Trump victory slaughters entire family in murder-suicide.

DULUTH, MINNESOTA. NOVEMBER 7, 2024

An extreme leftist Wiccan man with a history of mental illness and father of two sons boiled over with rage after President Donald Trump's historic second term victory in the early hours of November 7th, 2024, posting a tirade of alarming content on his social media before going on a rampage and shooting to death his wife and two sons, along with his ex-wife in another part of the city, finally turning the gun on himself. The perpetrator is identified as 46 year old Anthony Nephew of Duluth, who was found with a self inflicted gunshot wound alongside the bodies of his wife, 45 year old Kathryn Nephew, and his 7 year old son Oliver Nephew. At a residence in another part of the city, horrified investigators found the lifeless bodies of Anthony Nephew's estranged partner Erin Abramson, 47, and his other son, 15 year old Jacob Nephew. Both were also killed via gunshot by the deceased perpetrator.

----------
----------
“My mental health and the world can no longer peacefully coexist, and a lot of the reason is religion,” Anthony Nephew wrote in July.

“I am terrified of religious zealots inflicting their misguided beliefs on me and my family. I have intrusive thoughts of being burned at the stake as a witch, or crucified on a burning cross.

“Having people actually believe that I or my child are Satan or, the anti-Christ or whatever their favorite color of boogie man they are afraid are this week.” (Some ramblings extracted from Anthony Nephew's social media accounts)
----------
----------
In another post, he accused Republicans of “making it harder for women to leave” abusive relationships.

“Gilead here we come,” he wrote, referencing “The Handmaid's Tale,” a dystopian novel turned Hulu series in which women, who have been stripped of their rights, are forced to reproduce for the ruling class.
----------
----------
Anthony Nephew shared other political posts, including an image of former president Barack Obama, Trump, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The word “hate” sits under Trump’s face, while the words “hope,” “heal” and “grow” correspond with the Democratic politicians.
----------
----------

As patriotic Americans in Duluth, Minnesota enjoyed consecutive days of joy and wholesome festivities in the wake of the triumphant return of MAGA after the Election of 2024, neighbors and Duluth Police awakened on November 7th in horror as a mentally deranged leftist slaughtered his entire family over the loss of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

Questions for prone shooting

Few questions on shooting in the prone position. Shooting an ar platform and just going through repetitions for groups but need some advice.
1. To load or not to load the bipod. Should bipod be at the muzzle or half way. I personally feel better not loading.
2. Rear bag should it be tucked firm under my arm and armpit. I squeeze with my left hand for reticle adjustment.
3. Can there be to much pressure from my cheek to stock while shooting.

I am working on not grabing and adding any other tension while firing. These are just a few things that came to my mind. I am also realizing i may have to bring my scope back some to my natural resting spot and not force my eye forward. Thanks again for the advice and knowledge.

Sig Kilo 2000 - Dead?

Already reached out to Sig and they're not interested in looking at it or working on it. I've tested with various new batteries and all provide the same experience.

When using the range button, I can tell that it's sending out the laser because I can see the purple light with my phone's camera. The internal display however, shows absolutely nothing. No matter what I do, I get nothing from the display. You guys have any ideas before I toss this thing?

What sight to put on it?

Well I'm pleasantly surprised by my friends 300 BO pistol I helped him assemble. I did a few accuracy treatments on it for him.

The little thing
shoots sub .5 moa @ 1Cyd. with Gold Dots when a high mag BR scope is attached.

So what sight that can be both quick yet not reduce the inherent accuracy at range?

LPVO? 4X PRISM sight plus a reflex sight on a 45* mount? or?
He wants it to do home defense duty as well as deer hunting with supersonic Gold Dot 150's.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Cordless tools, how far they have come.....

Something a little lighter for a change.

I took both of these drills out of the box new, only about 50 years apart.....good god 50 years.

The Makita was "it". The drill, top of the line and in its day was flat amazing. Nothing came close, there was nothing else when it came out.

I doubt the Milwaukee ever was top of the line, but it is a good drill, and has been used quite a bit. And taken a great deal of abuse.

The Makita died many years ago, and for some reason I hung onto it. Likely because it was so expensive when I bought it. About a year ago I decided to see what was wrong with it, and see if I could fix it. Sure enough, just a wire off the mechanical trigger was the issue, little solder and the drill turned. I ordered some new Amazon batteries and the think works. But man it sucks next to that "new" drill.

I remember having a bunch of batteries for the thing, and changing them all the time, but don't remember this little power. But I think it has not lost much over the years, I think the new tools have just gotten that much better.

So in an effort to lighten up a bit, do you have any old tools that you kept and still use on at least a once and a while basis.

I do still use the Makita, and it makes me smile with every hole, and every screw. If you are really "trying to get something done" it is not the tool to grab, but if you are "goofing around", it does bring something to the table that the new tools just cant.
