I am looking for a highly regarded smith that can make a new barreled action using a CDG action they have on hand or they source inside 14 weeks lead time. Ideally they have Bartlein barrels or proof steel barrels in a reasonably thick competition type contour. 6 dasher chambering.

Anyone know of any smiths doing work have that short of lead time to completed product?

This is a 13" spiral fluted, 7 Twist, M24 barrel threaded 5/8x24 and prefit for a Terminus Apollo
It took me a minute to dial in a load for this but that's more because subsonic can be finicky. Shoots great now, and I'm more than happy to share my load data with the buyer. Probably about 500 rounds down the tube, it is a bit heavy. According to PVA It should headspace on a Curtis axiom, all apollos and all kratos as well.

The last picture is it in a night stalker for length reference.

Looking to trade mostly plus cash on my end for high end scopes or rifles.

Recently weighing Sierra match king, Berger Juggernaut’s, Hornady ELD-Match and ELD-VT and even their flag ship A-tip projectiles in .308, I noticed neither Hornady nor Sierra could hold a candle to the consistency in weight of the Berger’s I saw over half a grain difference in min vs max on Hornady and Sierra projectiles while over 100 projectiles of the Berger Juggernauts, they were all literally dead on 185gr or 185.1 split about 60/40.

I didn’t expect there to be that much inconsistency in the Hornady’s weight or the Sierra’s.

I guess the Berger’s cost more for a reason… I duno why I’m even posting this other than surprised in a negative way by the others.

Brand new Accu-Tac 17S spec-5 bipod. Instead of Accu-Tac’s clamp this has a 17S base for your favorite bipod clamp (RRS, A419). Additionally available are brand new ski feet and a new takeoff QD Arca clamp from a different bipod. Combining the 17S bipod with the QD Arca clamp effectively turns it into the SR-5 Spec-5 G2 bipod.
