SOLD WTS - MPA BA CZ 457 Chassis

For sale is a MPA BA Chassis for a CZ 457. This was purchased used by me a few years ago. I ended up barely using it.

Im asking $550 shipped. But if my pricing is way off, please let me know. The only trade I would be interested in is a MDT Field stock for a CZ 457 in green if possible.

Thank you for looking.

Vudoo Gun Works V-22 Rimfire Bolt Action

Ok, no more drip feeding, it's time for full fire hose.

The VGW V-22 is a true-to-scale mid-lock rimfire bolt action with integral recoil lug. One of the many unique features of this design is, for a mid-lock, there are no lug ways forward of the lug abutment in the receiver. The rail is MilStd 1913, available in 0, 25 and 30 MOA. The action is currently in full production and available from Vudoo Gun Works in St. George, UT.

This rifle has no finish on it yet and of course, it uses my AICS patterned magazine that is currently fielded in many 40X Repeater Conversions. The action is a direct drop in to any Rem700 Short Action Stock or Chassis, with the only accommodation being the ejection port is shorter than the standard Rem700/40X length port. Unlike the 40X Rimfire, the lugs in the VGW V-22 are concealed.

I'll be spending more time on the range tomorrow and will post video of it cycling, but it runs like a Swiss watch.

Thanks, Guys....

Lefty Shooting Righty?!?

I'm left-handed and getting fairly serious about precision rimfire (PRS, NRL22). I have shot right-handed bolt guns my entire life. I currently run a heavy barreled B14R, and I feel that it hasn't held me back up to this point. Right now, I come off of the rifle with my support hand to run the bolt.

Looking for the opinions of people who have done this way longer than I have and who can steer me in the right direction!

Question on Temp stability

Have a question for you all on Temp stability on Powder.
I am getting ready to work on a 6 Arc I have in a gas gun. From all the reading I do the Leverevoloution powder shows to have the best velocity as well as the best ES/SD numbers from everything I have read.
But I have also seen where a lot say it is not temp stabile as some other powders.
I plan to hunt with this rifle this year so the temp stability is pretty important to me as during our seasons it might be 70 degrees one day and two days later it might be 10 degrees.
Have any of you all seen temp issues from the LVR powder that you would consider an issue?

I have Varget at home as well but it seems to yield a lower velocity but I know it is much more temp stable.
There are other powders that are listed for the 6Arc but they are also harder for me to get ahold of.
The only other easily obtainable powder for me is CFE223. But I have never used it so don't know much about it.

Just looking to get some opinions from you all that have more experience than me.

Accessories Chamber reamers for sale

Text me for pics of reamer and whatever info I have. 4804678090

These are good live pilot finishing reamers with 10-15 uses on each. Plenty of life left. Hell I don’t even like reamers until they’ve cut 10+ chambers.

I bought these at the start of my career about 14 years ago and back then deferred to the tool makers suggestions or just bought a saami reamer. Now all my reamers come from JGS and they mark the shank of each one with critical specs. Having every detail lasered onto the side of your reamer is priceless… but 14 years ago I hadn’t realized that yet.

Reamers should be saami minimum body, and in most cases a saami fb/throat. You can often look at the throat grind and get an idea of how long it is, and 1-30 seems to be the most common lead angle by far, so I can usually look at a reamer and have some idea of its throat dimensions.

300 win mag HSS print #T23217
$60
Looks like a shorter saami throat, should be fine for 300wm factory ammo.

6.5x47 Lapua HSS
$60 shipped
Looks like a typical x47 throat… like .150” fb

7 Rem mag HSS PTG 190982
.090” fb 1-30 lead
.317 neck
$60 shipped
This reamer has its specs printed on it

338 Lapua mag PTG
$60 shipped
box says T23218 from PTG. It built some accurate lapuas 10 years ago but I can’t guess the freebore dimensions by looking at this one. It looks pretty long, like .160” fb or so, which I say is long because of the magazine length restrictions the 338lapua faces. 3.850” just ain’t long enough with the 300gr berger elites unless you have very little freebore. The older 300s and the 250s/285s seemed to easily fit 3.850” with some throat length and still reach lands, but lately with guys shooting the 300gr Berger elites I’ve had to use my shortest throated Lapua reamer(.070”)

Feeding issues

After hours of research I am still coming up short on a fix for my feed issue.
Savage 110 6.5 creedmoor same issue 2 different mags.
I tried to post a video but I haven't figured that out yet. The pictures show a round that is incapable of moving forward, I have to move the bolt back slightly for the round to align properly with the bolt face before it will chamber.

RRS TFCT 14L w Anvil 30 too heavy for backpack backcountry hunting?

Rugged remote Idaho spring bear hunt (flying into the Frank Church), we'll be trying to avoid any unnecessary weight. Trying to decide whether to take a bipod or a tripod, leaning towards the latter. My hunting buddy says re: RRS "no way man! Those things are too damn heavy!" He's looking at the AZIAK Ridgeline. I'm thinking that thing is too flimsy, too short, and to made in China-ey, but at 1.5# it's a full 2# lighter than the RRS 14L

Has anybody carried a 14L straight up a hill for several miles and several thousands of feet and regretted it or not?

What's the best compromise of weight, stability, and height for this application?

SOLD WTS - Spuhr SP-4601

For sale is a Spuhr SP-4601 in 34mm and 20.6 moa cant. It comes with the leveling tool and a Holosun EPS canted mount.

Asking price is $350. Thank you for looking.
