Hello All, I am finally trying to get into bolt action rifles and the Delta 5 pro has caught my eye. I have been doing some reading and researching (found a few posts on this website) and it seems like there are a lot of people who are not a fan of the rifle. Seemingly it was an older version of the gun in some of the reviews I've read and not the newer "Pro" model, although I did find some people who didn't care for the newer one either. Some people didn't like the way the bolt manipulated, some didn't like the barrel was CHF (although if it shoots well who cares how it's made), etc. The one I'm looking at is the 20 inch .308 Hpalma it seems like it would be a nice gun and I own other DD rifles and they have always bent over backwards to help me out so I like the company, I just don't want to purchase something if it has some big glaring issues. Thoughts from those who have used them?

Does anyone know if ARCOMP 5.56 loads are more or less prone to create carbon rings in AR rifles than other powders?

I have a like new Leupold Mark 4HD in 4.5-18x52 with PR2-MIL reticle in factory box with bikini caps and paperwork, asking $1,100.00 shipped.

1.54 height spuhr for 34mm tubes. This is SP-4007. Not sure why they had both the 1.5 and 1.54 models but for all intended purposes they are the same. No damage. Looks as new. The box is not origonal to the mount. It's another spuhr box, FYI.

Sold delivered. Spuhr Bubble level is not included and not even available. Raptor rail/Diving board (A-0029) would be $70 additional with mount and that has never been out in the field.

I just saw on NRL website that there's a match in Alaska a few hours north of Anchorage. I was wondering if this is a new match or if this has been done before. If it's not new, does anyone have any knowledge of the temp or bugs at that time of year or any advice on where to stay nearby? I have family in Wasilla, but driving 2 hours to the range plus a 12-hour day of shooting plus another 2 hours back doesn't sound ideal.

Im new to the forum but not shooting. I used to shoot IPSC and USPSA, reloading as well as armed security and LE work. Ive been out of the shooting game for about 3 years due to an accident. I broke my back and neck which resulted in me having my entire spine fused (im what they call an incomplete paraplegic so I can walk but not real far and not real steady) and now Im in a wheelchair (real life Joe Swanson). y'all will see me post some questions here and there but im mostly here to lurk, learn and look at the awesome pics. Im still a ways pout from shooting rifle but I can start shooting handgun soon (gotta wait 6 months post op to shoot). Thanks for having me and hopefully soon I'll be able to post some pics. Im notify interested in Long range shooting (which I don't have much experience in), Night vision/thermal and helping others with disabilities get into the sport. Thanks guys!
