Up for sale is my ATACR 4-16x42 F1 with Mil-R reticle. Overall looks really good, a few marks here and there from use, but nothing major. The windage cap knurling has some marks, the elevation lock button has a ding, and some slight mark’s on the body, very slight ring marks. Glass is in great shape, can’t see any thing at all on there. All I have is the scope. No box, no caps, no tool or anything. What you see is what you get.

Hi folks:

Looking for some help with a tongue-in-cheek survey. My hometown is in the running for the snobbiest town in Vermont... and we can't let Woodstock beat us. I mean, they are quite snobby. They do have buried power lines, some Rockefellers, a Saab dealer and all. But we have a brand name town logo, designer covered bridges, a recycled-asphalt free-range main street (with Martha Stewart street-lamps) and much trendier organic food cooperatives. Not to mention Brad Pitt stayed here once. I mean, it's not like he stayed in Woodstock or anything. And I understand he is quite snobby.

Please help me load the ballot box and get Stowe voted the top snobs in Vermont by going to:

Please vote for Stowe in the Mountain Division! The Shelburne/Middlebury race... meh. They don't stand a chance in the finals. All they have is an over-rated college and a beached steamboat.

I will graciously raise my chin in mock-snobbery to everyone who votes for us and I will try and get everyone an invite to the annual Blivetsphincter family cotillion and lobster bake if we win. I have a T1x in a Bravo and it is way too back heavy. I added a heavy arca rail from KRG, a t-slot forend weight from KRG, MDT M-lok weights at the end of the rifle and it is still way too back heavy. The balance point is somewhere around the magwell right now. I don't wanna rest my rifle on the mag.

If I wanna keep playing the weights game by next options is buying a spigot to stick out the end and an arca rail spacer from KRG to add weight.

Any ideas on how to add more weight to the front?

I custom ordered this rifle directly from Gunwerks about 3 1/2 years ago. It is in like new condition, and only has about 120 rounds through it. Although I never thought I'd sell this rifle, I guide full time and rarely ever have a chance to use it or hunt for myself. I'm not in a huge rush to sell it, but I'd rather see someone pick it up for the upcoming season.

I primarily shot Berger 215 Hybrids through it loaded by Unknown Munitions, but it also loves 205 Elite Hunters, 210 VLDs and did well with 190 VLDs. (I had UM load me a bullet sample box when I first purchased the rifle)

No, I do not have a target with groups... due to the fact that I haven't shot this rifle in almost two years. It's is an incredible rifle, and will easily run sub MOA even with the "Factory" type Ammo I am including with the package.

I’m giving my wife a Christmas list ?

I’m wanting a new fixed blade hunting knife this year. I would like to keep it under $200 and US made.

I’ve kindof narrowed it down to:
Bark River- Fox River or Gunny 3v
Battle Horse- Patriot Scout
Winkler- Blue Ridge Hunter ($300 more of a want)
Considering: R&N Blades (Australia)

I’ve found really good reviews on RN and Bark River but very little on the Winkler and BH as hunting knives.

I would like to be able use it for small camp tasks and dress an elk (if possible. If I get drawn, next year i want to do a solo hunt).

Anyone have experiences with the ones I mentioned? I would also consider others.

A federal judge in Florida threw out the prosecution of former President Donald Trump on Monday in the “documents” case because she ruled that Special Counsel Jack Smith had not been appointed in a constitutional or lawful manner.
Judge Aileen Cannon granted a defense motion after ruling that Smith, who was not confirmed by the U.S. Senate as other U.S. Attorneys have been in the past, could not lawfully bring the indictment against Trump in federal court.
“In the end, it seems the Executive’s growing comfort in appointing ‘regulatory’ special counsels in the more recent era has followed an ad hoc pattern with little judicial scrutiny,” Cannon wrote, according to a CNN report.
The stunning development came on the first morning of the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and will excite an already emotional gathering in the wake of Trump’s attempted assassination Saturday.
Many conservatives believe that the slew of prosecutions — two federal, two state — and civil actions against Trump were part of creating the climate of hatred that could have encouraged the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania.
As Breitbart News noted in early June, Cannon scheduled a hearing on the constitutionality of Smith’s appointment, which had been raised by the defense as well as a number of outside amicus curiae (“friend of the court”) briefs.
Last month, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas suggested in a concurring opinion in Fischer v. United States — which said the Department of Justice had abused its power in prosecuting January 6th defendants under a statute about witness tampering — that Smith’s appointment was likely unconstitutional. Smith’s took aim at Thomas’s arguments in an unrelated filing in the case last week, which raised some legal eyebrows.
Democrats and media pundits have bemoaned the fact that Judge Cannon even chose to hear arguments on the constitutionality of Smith’s appointment. They even organized mass campaigns to file ethics complaints against her.
Smith brought charges against Trump in Florida — the site of Trump’s private residence at Mar-a-Lago — alleging that he had mishandled classified documents when he left office. Judge Cannon looked askance at the fact that Smith convened a grand jury in Washington, D.C. — a notoriously anti-Trump jurisdiction — rather than in Florida.
It is not clear if Cannon’s ruling affects Smith’s separate prosecution of Trump for January 6-related charges in Washington.

First, I have searched the site multiple times and not finding an answer.

Problem, set MV and G7 profile to match 300, 400, 500, 700 perfectly. 800 shots dead center of IPCS silhouette (blue line dead center) at 5.3 mils. No matter what I do, or how I work it, the Kestrel sets at 5.62. Naturally my range finder will not range that far (money is adding up in savings for one that will so having to depend of the range’s range card). (True Velocity is 2890 FPS and True G7 BC is 0.275 Kestrel agrees with dope at 300, 400, 500 and 700 yards with 2830 FPS and G7 0.285).

Is there an issue with the way I am adjusting the Kestrel or possibly the 800 yard target is set at 775 yards true (which according to the Kestrel is 5.3 mils?
