Once I changed myself enough that i could like myself, I find it generally more pleasant to be alone. Companionship is nice but so is peace and quiet. If it doesnt throw me down and sit on my face its not worth the effort.

Lots of people say that traditional marriage was destroyed by gays and lesbos. I call bullshit on that. Traditional marriage was destroyed as soon as the lifetime relationship between God, the bride, and groom was removed and replaced with family courts, custody battles, divorce attorneys, alamony/child support payments, etc. Also the tax benefits associated with marriage.
That said, my wife and I got married as soon as we both legally could. We're both Christians and we did it for traditional purposes. Yeah, our first son was born out of wedlock, but I never said we were perfect Christians. We owe it to our two sons to give them a stable Christian Conservative home to grow up in and then when they become adults they can continue the tradition and hopefully help heal traditional marriage in society.

After being married about 3 years or so, my wife told me she didn't believe in divorce but did believe in collecting life insurance. After that when when she got mad at me I would tell her if she could make it look like an accident, she would get twice as much money.
Wife likes guns and way back when, bought me a S&W 629 Mountain Gun. Before that she got me a Dillon 550B for Christmas one year. Has never told me I shouldn't have bought a gun or reloading stuff.

Living in the dark ages, does not change reality. 80% of modern women are chasing/ sleeping with 20% of men. A majority of women are going to college these days and putting off marriage. By the time these women leave college the amount of sex partners they have had if substantial by any standard. STDs and other problems aside this puts their ability to pair-bond very low. Given that society does just about everything I can to encourage divorce, this is a bad combination.
When polled women want the 3 sixes 6 feet tall, 6 figures salary and 6 pack abs. The problem is that just the first two puts them all fighting for single digit percentile. The average height is 5’9. The average salary is 50 K.

If you really had a clue of what young men are facing out there, you would be more careful with your “get married” advise. Very careful. A close family friend just married a Vietnamese girl he met overseas. She's young and hot, keeps the house immaculate, cooks three meals from scratch every day and takes care of his mother who is suffering from dementia. I love my wife, but I have to admit I'm jealous.

I have a GF that lives in Italy. When she found out I was repeatedly taking pistol training classes, she became unbelievably excited. She fully knows about the evil that is out there. Having a guy who understands that, plus is ready and willing to fight for our safety is super important to her.
