Oh and $14M a minute for an ego-boosting commercial that realistically does nothing to build sales or increase stock value. Yes, these commercials are mainly about image and employee morale. But wouldn't 7,000 employees prefer a $2,000 bonus (not including ad production costs... another million or two)... with a note from the CEO that says "I was going to buy a Superbowl ad this year. But instead, I want all of you to take this money and have an amazing weekend with your family and friends. Thank you for being part of the 'real' winning team."
