Salt bath annealing advice

Yeah... sure... so long as you realize that "they" is just milanuk and markleupold and that its only a hypothesis in an online forum with no actual data.
I hear what you're saying. Thing is though, I absolutely DO have to state that I have gotten quite a bit of excellent data/information from milanuk over the years. So it isn't quite so easy for me to 'disregard' just yet.

There's a few other things that I'm still waiting to see 'come out' and/or 'be tested' and whatnot. Rubbing elbows with an 800 degree boiler HAS to have transference in one manner or another. Am I stubborn, or just stupid?

Which brings us back to the original presumption, which would simply be "their opinion". And to make that even more gooder, said opinion would be "on the innerwebz" so you KNOW it's important.
I was less than satisfied with my first results with my SBA neck turned fire-formed .243 brass. When I reloaded the first hundred I could feel that bullet seating pressure was not consistent. I know the answer will be to buy an AMP but I'm genetically predisposed to experiment with the SBA method to try and find a solution before declaring AMP the hands down winner. My wife calls me stubborn!
