Movie Theater netfix snuffed by disney?

I got rid of my dish about a year ago. Never watched tv anyways and the rare occasion I would turn it on it was nothing but garbage. I will agree though $7 is better than $15.

I haven't really been paying much attention, but didn't Fred and Wilma (Barack and Mike) sign a big deal with Netflix recently ?

Maybe Disney is going to port all of the Netflix resources over into the chelsea and hillbilly channel (?)

Stranger things have happened......

I think Netflix will respond with a lot more niche content that dedicated fans will want to watch.

I think the looser will be Hulu and we'll probably see Netflix, Disney & Amazon as the top streaming platforms for video.
Google is trying with their YouTube TV and other subscription packages but I think it will fall flat as being WAY too expensive and mostly junk compared to what the others are offering. Google doesn't know how to create anything only slurp up what others do and make money off of it.

In the coming online market, original programming is going to be king. Specialty and Niche series will rule the money war to a big degree.
For example Disney wouldn't make something like Black Mirror, but others will and people will pay to see it.

Another big player is foreign language stuff.
Currently Netflix and Amazon kind of fight over rights to it, with dark edgy series & fun comedies.
