at Least the fights at Popeyes are entertaining. The ones at Chick-Fil-A are boring. One time, a dude didn’t immediately say excuse me but eventually did after realizing his mistake. Tensions were higher in those 3 seconds than they have ever been in the pentagon.

Fucking around with someone working in fast food is a pretty sure way to get your ass beaten, hard... You got people whose souls are literally sucked out of them by the shitty work, shitty pay, shitty customers, and a lot of times, shitty coworkers and managers. You see a lot of them at the counter with classic 'thousand yard stares' while taking your order.

Yeah, calling someone who already has their rubber band stretched to the very limit of tolerance a "n***er" is one way to lose all of the teeth in your mouth, if not worse.

I stay the fuck away from fast food. Not because of the shenanigans. But because my tastes are much better than that... And I don't want some incel high school dropout venting his anger on me by giving me an extra coating of dick cheese on my sandwich while he "heats it up" somewhere out of sight.

I could see her getting back-handed. It still wouldn't be right, but at least it would be within relative understanding. Reading the details and watching the footage inside the restaurant, it's evident that she threatened to sic her state trooper son on them. It was foolhardy, especially with an unknown commodity running hot.

Is the moment she calls the employee "n*gger" in the video? My speakers are kinda fucked up so it's hard to tell (the article says she can't be heard saying it at all). But even if she did say that and did threaten to send her State Trooper son after him, is body-slamming a 55-yo woman onto concrete/asphalt and giving her "nine fractures, six cracked ribs and a broken knee" equivalent retribution for a single racial slur and what probably amounted to an empty threat? Shitty fast-food-joint job or not, that's just not right.

But either way, god-fucking-damn, what is wrong with people? It's a fucking chicken sandwich. It's probably a subpar chicken sandwich, coming from Popeye's, yet for some reason it's being treated like it's manna from heaven. People are willing to kill, maim, or seriously injure over chicken in the United States.

So why do we hear her saying "I'm as black as you are"? Don't know who tossed the first race card out there, but somebody did. It's just nuts to get bent out of shape and mouthy in such an environment.

Years and years ago I worked for Church's, and watched a Southern District Manager nearly get destroyed by a worker in the North for the word "boy." Sadly, we just aren't there yet, wherever it is that we need to be so that people of different races don't wage war over perceived slights.

I'm not sure who said "I'm black as you are". Doesn't make sense if it was the body-slammed woman 'cause she's not remotely black, I'm guessing it might've been an employee. I agree that there was no reason to throw out any kind of race card and that mouthing off from the injured party was a stupid thing to do whether she was overcharged or not. Both parties are certainly at fault in this scenario but I stand by my post that what he did is absolutely disproportionate to what she did, same as the prick who stabbed someone to death over a sandwich the other day. But I can't hear a single instance of anyone mentioning the n-word except the one guy at around 32 seconds in. It's hard to tell, even with my headphones on to make up for the bad audio on my speakers, but I just can't hear it and the article supports that.

Agreed, though, that we're not where we need to be so that people don't get so bent out of shape over a word that was or was not said, or whatever other slights real or perceived were made. But I'm starting to suspect that's never going to happen, at least not any time soon. You've got people trashing stores and threatening to call the cops over being called "sir" instead of "ma'am" when there's no reason anyone would've known said person was a "woman", so it's gone way past race now. Bonkers world, this.

I actually saw that at a hockey game once. Two players got in a disagreement and rather than just attacking each other, they squared off on the ice and each threw a couple punches before the ref made 'em cut it out. These Popeye's arguments might be more entertaining if they happened that way, especially if it was a couple of women having it out in the parking lot under Marquess of Queensberry rules.

Could anyone imagine what would happen in Chick-Fil-A had a dollar menu? Lines are already a nightmare but an organized nightmare. Imagine the chaos.... if you could get their sandwiches for $1.

there in Tennessee they are all family anyway , so its just a tisey uncle john was just admiring aunt susans dress a little too closely or the time little tomas was caught kissing the family dog , Its good for a laugh not much else to do anyway , a fight over vittles happens .

Because it's a lot more offensive to claim you're black than it is to claim you're native. Natives don't get the same amount of oppression points, you see, because they owned slaves and aren't called the N-word over fast food and aren't so plagued by violence. Oh and because Fauxcahontas is in politics and opposes Trump so she gets a pass.

SOme dude at work told me a few days ago a guy got stabbed to death over a Popeyes chicken sandwich..

With that said, when I simply aint got the money to eat @ Pappadeaux's, Popeye's is my next choice. Only thing I like at Chick-fil-a is their Spicy chicken biscuits and the chicken minis... Popeye's is the shit

ETA: kinda strange.. where I grew up in rural South Ga, where Im sure slavery was as rampant as anywhere else, never saw shit like this. Matter of fact everyone got along great, my pap made Mr Mike, a black man, my boss when gathering/selling straw. And it wasn't a "thing". Absolutely nothing wierd bout it, and never once questioned it. One of my best friends in middle school was a black kid.. Even here in Atl where I am now.. I cant remember ever seeing stuff like this.. and I've spent much more time than I care to admit in the Dekalb and Fulton Co. jails, and I'll say a black and a white was much more likely to be friendly, than ANY race and a CO... maybe my former ways as a unsuccessful outlaw has something to do with it, I know how to move amongst the scum of society.. more street cred or some such. If only I could go back and slap myself silly and prevent all those 'tarded decisions, I'd give 10 years of my life to do so!

Another word on that.. it might be more useful than you'd first think, to at least know your way of how to move and communicate amongst the criminal element. A gentleman from the former Yugoslavia(Sarajevo specifically) said once the siege started, it wasn't long before the "former criminals" were actually the main, if not only ones, who still had access to/were able to get supplies/food/ammo into the city. Ie the black market types were already well-adapted to having to conduct their activities in a clandestine manner, and once it was all said and done.. it was those black market types who came out of that whole ordeal more rich and more powerful than the former so-called "elite".
I aint saying become the next Dillinger.. god knows I'd give anything to go back and walk the straight and narrow my entire life. But you never know.. it just may help to have a couple good-hearted associates/friends who might "live on the edge/fringes" so to speak..

75 and windy will sounds familiar.. but I reckon I should clarify, I don't live IN Atlanta.. I live in Lawrenceville, Popeye's I usually hit is on Buford Dr.. But anywho,.. my friends and my own knuckleheaded self led me to seeing no downside whatsoever to getting mixed up in pushing... substances. And well.. best prices for such is downtown obviously.

Needless to say, going from endless woods for as far as you can see to bright flashing lights and retardedly fast money to be made along with girls who were hotter than I thought existed and absolutely ate up the stupid "bad boy" image(young girls are so dumb, goddamn) was.. a little(A LOT!) too overwhelming.. combined with falling in with the same type of adrenaline chasers that I am made for the perfect storm.

Well for what its worth.. I thankfully straightened up & got away from all that 7.5~8 years ago now. Unfortunately military dont care if you were a juvenile when you committed your actions. Didnt mean to imply Im still involved in that nonsense. But its up to you sir.
Bear in mind Pappadeauxs aint fast food.. lol this is pretty high end place. And if I could make recommendation, I basically get the same thing every time, either fried gator or fried crawfish with red beans n rice or gumbo as a side, and crawfish bisque for appetizer. The crawfish bisque ya absolutely have to try!

Cause jail SUCKS! The food is literally worse than pig slop, like barely edible.. I once went 5 days on 2 little cups of cereal. Its ALWAYS loud as hell 24 hrs/day, every door is designed to be loud as fck, mentally ill ppl constantly screaming nonsense, + Having to eat with your back to the wall, never allowing yourself to stand anywhere that’d allow an attack from a blind spot, etc.. Was sitting at a table one time when this fat Mexican guy randomly came up, yelled "WHY THE F*CK YOU IN MY SEAT!" as he "sucker-cut" the elderly black man watching TV sitting right next to me across the top/side of his face/head with a razor completely outta nowhere.. mostly tho the fights are between homeless crackheads and/or dudes that knew each other/had drama from the outside. If you ever get a DUI in a rough part of town and find yourself in a jail like one I was in(Fulton County), simply tell yourself one thing: You're walking in that mfckr a man, and you're walking out a man. Be ready to throw down instantly(as in no escalation/de-escalation process whatsoever). Long as you carry yourself with that mentality and don't exude any quality that makes it seem like ya got 1 drop of bitch blood in you, yet don't look for trouble or try to start shit, you'll be fine.
Thankfully also I ain’t a felon and my outlaw ways were short-lived but unfortunately not short-lived enough.. Though the dems are tryin their hardest to make all us on this site(and every gun owner) a future felon .. :(
