Buy shit tons of ammo & AR's

Reloading supplies....

Or........ you make friends with a local PD Rangemaster and offer to take all that pesky once fired brass off their hands so they don't have to pay for a service to remove it.

So many 5 gallon buckets of once fired 9/40/45/223 brass :)

See my earlier post about (deputizing) civilians and allowing them to act as first responders in the same fashion as we have for EMS. As a formerly certified (but long expired,)medic I keep basic trauma gear in my truck and have no problem stopping to help in a car crash or any other case that needs stabilizing if I can be of use.

No reason for the same logic to not apply to an active murderer situation, if the need arises. But i can't very well bring a fork to a gun fight. Taking away one's ability to defend one's self is absolute BS and it shouldn't matter what I use to do it.

As an aside, my wife keeps her head in the sand a bit on some of this stuff and relies on me to either bail her out or to force her to understand what's happening when it has to be done. We had a chat tonight about the eradication of ,and death camps for, Trump supporters. Her response was, 'We're not giving them shit!'. Proud moment!

Lets hope that things cam down,,, take a deep breath gents,,, prepare for the worst, let scumbag government critter that sucks on the teet of the cow that is our grand kids future earnings...

People are purposefully trying to tear this country apart. For real.IT aint Trump either.. Its the deep state and the two parties. Dont let them goad you.

Keep your normal supply of whatever you think you need for defense of your family, your rights and your property.

If you take the oath you owe it to Americans and the Constitution to stand ready to take care of the whole dam country, you are all that is left.

@TxWelder35 brings up a good point, you can only carry so much.

The sun came up today and t will come up tomorrow.Pay attention but dont break out he wry beads just yet.
Another thing I think people don't think to do is stock pile food. If we are in a shooting war on our soil you can be damn sure our food supply chain is going to be completely fubar. Same with water.

Now, I highly doubt in these scenarios everybody will be able to stay in their homes, now you have to get you, your family, and all your supplies to a safer environment. Your 100 year supply of ammo and ARs does you no good if you can't move it all with you, or you only stocked ammo and forgot that your family will actually need to eat at some point. Also, have you stocked away enough gun cleaning supplies, replacement barrels, and tools to fix said guns to shoot your 100k rounds of ammo?

I am by no means saying that having a ammo stock pile is useless but you have so many other things that as, if not more important to stock up on also.

And with all these supplies you better have a plan b to move all this stuff to a different location. If all you have is a sedan, good luck packing your family, clothes, food, water, survival supplies, and your arsenal all in there.

Also for the guys that need certain medications, eye contacts/glasses etc to survive, you better have a huge supply of that also.

Buying more ammo is such a small component to this uprising of the people

6 mo's supply arrives today.

For anyone just getting into the food stuff, I would suggest they do a lot of research and actual eating of the stuff before stocking up on the "survival food" supplies that are pushed by a lot of folks these days.

besides ammo ...

You get hungry enough, you’ll eat whatever you can find. At that point even these items are much welcomed.

Lmao.

These deer will be gone the first night. You won't ever see them again.

i hear you, but its a herd that i can time my watch by every day and im out in the middle of nowhere with no neighbors. The herd is about 19 doe and 17 bucks whenever the bucks are bachelored up. During the season, they split up but still stay in the area. I keep trail cams out year round.

Just out of curiosity, who are you going to be shooting all this ammo at? When it comes down to it the only people that really need to go are the politicians. That could be done before dinner time in one day if we wanted. I'm just trying to imagine a scenario in which you are shooting 10s of 1000s of rounds battle. Unless it's literally world War 3 on our shores it's not gonna happen.

Civil War where we are shooting at other American citizens is not going to happen. Which people are you imagining fighting against?

Now if we are talking a grid down scenario, etc thats a different story. But massive civil war shooting battles? I think not.

We get tired of everyone in DC, March on them, and construct the gallows? More likely.

Don't believe it's only the politicians when you have conglomerates lobbying the politicians. I watched a documentary about the FDA and the sugar crisis 25 years ago. Companies like Nestle and Tyson gave millions of dollars for the FDA to release a study showing that obesity was due to people not exercising enough and had nothing to do with poor food quality filled with sugar and preservatives. Later on, you might remember Michelle Obama got involved with her "let's move" campaign. That's how things work... That's why Amazon pays nothing for taxes. Google executives are caught exchanging emails about creating algorithms to affect the 2020 election to be in favor of the left and no one bats an eyelash. The rabbit hole is deeper than just politics. I shouldn't say anything, I'm deep behind enemy lines on the north side of Chicago ??

I’m all for ammo and guns but I’d rather have a long gun than an AR and a shotgun for upclose and personal haha long guns are awesome for killing the big lead bull elk and big muleys and the shotguns work awesome for cleaning up the little rodents rats and squirrels and what not that are such pests. But I do love my ARs as well!!

100% agree. You can lump them in with the politicians also.

As much as I love a excuse to buy more guns, I’d say training is more important, enough ammo to train and also have some bricks left over, having common calibers would be smart, NVGs would be on my list, also making sure you have a good vehicle that can off road and carry a ton of stuff, comms would be important and knowing how to read a paper map, because if shit did go sideways I’d expect they’d scramble GPS and cell phones pretty quick.

And preset plans, if X happens do Z.

TXAZ submits that an adding a foundational layer to Maslow’s pyramid, “Dominance through superior firepower” meets all other needs :)
I personally think safety is part of the physiological needs when things are going severely sideways (WROL, Massive EMP, complete breakdown of society). If you can't feel somewhat secure, you can never rest.

Honestly........ Society is at that point now. Reading and hearing more and more about 'sleep related" issues. A person can sleep but not necessary get rested. Just listen to the people around you.

Lot's of debate to the theory “Dominance through superior firepower”..... When it reaches the point of a man traveling on foot.... His firepower will be limited. Eventually, everyone will be forced to travel on foot or horseback.

Because we will forget how to make ICE engines and how to read?

Since the government covid hysteria seems lots of folks have been trying to live out their walking dead or other favorite fiction apocalypse movie fantasies lately.

I have no clue if anything of any significance will happen in our lifetimes.

That being said, some of the greatest civilizations this planet had ever seen, collapsed into ruins, leaving survivors that used to live in an advanced civilization, scrambling to provide the basic necessities of life.

Humans tend to think everything is about them.

There is a lot of evidence folks don't want to talk about that points to a rather active planet and forces beyond the control of humans, that have regularly shaped the course of all life on Earth in new directions.
