One of the cool days in my life was seeing a mechanic work on Collings Foundation' Grumman Avenger at a local airport and him allowing me to climb up the wing to check out the cockpit. A Navy vet WWII had been allowed to sign his name on the armor plate behind the front seat.
Cool big ass radial powered plane.
I don't usually think of WWII prop planes as being that big.
Odd thing is I saw the Avenger and P47 as huge beasts, bigger than I imagined, but I was surprised by how small a B17 is.
I guess I can answer "Affirmative" to both these questions.

That is one thing that pisses me off. On one hand I can see the need for arming and giving ammo to like minded patriots who may need to provide covering fire or at least go into an overwatch position when you need them.
On the other hand I’ve bought ammunition when it was cheap to stockpile for target practice and emergencies only to give it to someone who woke up late and decided to finally do something.
I’m pissed that I might have to loan a really nice rifle to some Jody who only cared about watching football and was too cheap to exercise his right to buy a gun when it was easy.
I’m pissed because I might have to loan my nice gun and magazines to some lazy fuck who said, “I didn’t think they would go this far.” Then he might turn as yellow as pig piss when he sees someone get his head blown off.
I’m more pissed at the assholes trying to destroy this country but just as upset with the lazy fuckheads that haven’t taken a side or got involved in politics to avoid a civil war.
I don’t relish the thought of shooting commie bastards but will if they start a war. I won’t start a fight but I’m not going to live on my knees and bow to the likes of some transgender fuckheads that want to take everything away from me including my freedom.

Actually most likely they will be totally crap at loading empty magazines for you.
I find most folks I know who are not avid enthusiasts have a hard time actually loading magazines.
I can usually load about 10 magazines in the time it takes them to load 1 & most likely do a better job so it feeds properly.
I can load magazines like it's knitting and just something to fidget with while taking or reading or watching something etc.
Other folks it seems to require 100% of their concentration and energy.
