I just texted this to my buddy who is the head field tech on our local power company (and is putting in new lines here at the farm) with the note “Should I be concerned?” Can’t wait to see his response! ;-)

This is true. Any lines, poly pipe or belts get chewed up. I have seen cows running around with half a belt off of a pump jack hanging out of their mouth. This is also the reason why you pick up your shotgun hulls. Hardware disease is real.
