Gunsmithing - Is torque wrench mandatory for barrel swap
I’m getting a fixed shoulder prefit for my tikka, I’ve got an action wrench but not an internal action wrench. Am I safe to just use the external action wrench to tighten the action on? I’ve done a lot of work on vehicles/equipment and have a fairly good idea to be “close” to let’s say, 80 ft...

Makes me wonder what clip-ons they’ll employ. Really limits the options if that was a consideration. Midwave can accommodate the different cant angles, but not as easily done with long wave. I2 is less of a problem.
They are just victims of the system.
Probably did that so no matter what clip on they use or have access to, or future procurement, will all fit

The G22A2 is an AWM in the AXMC-style chassis.

Took the little lady out on a date and had a mk12's maiden voyage. She loves the clone m118lr and 168fgmm.
Also, got data on 168 gr loads from a 16" barrel for those wondering from before.
Hornady black amax: 2508, 17.8es, 7.3sd
Hornady match eldm: 2517, 34.1es, 15.1sd
Fgmm: 2442, 37.2es, 12.8sd
Really need to take more esthetically pleasing photos one day.
Also, got data on 168 gr loads from a 16" barrel for those wondering from before.

Real men win matches with .308
That would be a badass statement if 308's did win matches.
Best I ever did was 3rd overall with a 308....a m40a5 clone no less AND I had a pulmonary embolism right after the awards. So really...I won.
Yea it's pretty weak sauce honestly... Why stop at 40? Why not 100?It's not just PRS. When I shoot AR tactical matches or certain divisions of USPSA I will use 40rd Magpul mags or big stick 2011 mags. It's just a competition. It's not combat.

Do you think you could beat me in a mag change during a 15 rd stage if you had a 10rd mag and I had a 15rd mag? Clearly, there's no way the fastest mag changer in the west can beat someone that doesn't have to change mags at all. I don't think anyone doesn't know how to change a mag. I just don't understand why 10 is the magic number. Why not ask or expect better? Why not 12 or 15 rounds in a mag? Why is 7 minute abs all fucked up but 6 minute abs is right?
