My guess is it was for a couple reasons.
1. Well you might be about to need to use your ICBMs to do their job of launching nuclear weapons at your enemies, if so, you might actually want to make sure they work, and work when you need to fire a bunch of them, not just a random single 1 that you wait for perfect conditions for a test launch.
2. You want your enemies to know that your systems actually work and actually can launch in numbers and actually can hit their targets.
3. If your enemies don't take the hint and still want to force WWIII into happening, your missile launch crews need actual training and you need actual feedback of how everything went and any issues or things to improve, so it's much like a practice wargame drill.
I'll bet all the rest of those missiles are fitted out with their proper nukes not some little conventional explosives.
I'd not be surprised if our evil government is willing to let Europe get nuked and hope that it stays all in Europe and Russia and doesn't boil over fully to the USA being on the receiving end. The problem is you know once you start the snowball rolling, it could quickly become like Oprah everybody getting a shiny new rocket...

Just like the ground war, the air war was doomed to fail because the administration wouldn't let the war fighters fight to win.

Well i had some anxious minutes when iran's missiles were in the air going to israel a couple of months ago so i guess a few in a mountain in Colorado were not aware they were breathing .

Because of the short transit to target, I'm sure there was a very compressed time frame to detect, ID, track and predict. I'm guessing all 24 of the vehicles were in their terminal phase before anybody got their underwear in a wad.

Well colleagues that work in BW , said they run some wargames and whole BW was only able to defend a single major German city and after 3days ran out of ammo,and they estimate 3days was actually great overestimation of stocks.
At present Germany needs 10y to rearm to be able to do basic defense,let alone go to an offensive anywhere.

They are from multiple different sources and different angles of the same event as well.
They are obviously not stock footage.
Even an average joe that looks at the videos can view the approach angles as well as the multiple reentry objects and come to the conclusion it was not Zircons or any other cruise missile or hypersonic package.
