Extremely impressed with this little guy so far. Their website lists it at 1.95oz; my old kitchen scale is saying 2.3oz. The only can I’m aware of off the top of my head that’s lighter is the Mercy Pluto at ~1.9oz. It sounds great on my P22 and obviously on the Ruger American as well. We’ll see how it goes cleaning it, but I’m really excited to put more rounds through this thing.

On one hand I understand the appeal to have a lighter suppressor. Especially if it is going to be carried all day or if it throws the balance of the rifle or pistol way off it definitely makes sense.

On the other hand in many cases I think it gets blown away out of proportion.

Don't get me wrong, I am open to anything, including trying out lightweight 22 cans. That being said I have two 22 suppressors and they are probably #1 and #2 in the heaviest 22 cans available. At least for me, I chose extreme durability as something I prefer more, at least at the time of purchase.

For me I have never noticed anything detrimental (weight or otherwise) on a pistol or rifle with either 22 can that I own.

Fair points. In this case, I don’t think it really sacrifices durability, as it’s full auto rated and can handle up to 5.7!

For me, 'durability' isn't just about caliber ratings. Usually damage would be from having a firearm fall off of a tailgate, walking around in the woods, getting banged up on something hard, or even cleaning (including taking the can apart). Usually it's going to be day to day stuff but that's just me.

If I decide to get more 22 cans in the future I might broaden my criteria, but who knows when that might be.

I’m interested to see how it holds up, and how it cleans up. We’ll see!
