I believe this is the most logical explanation what happened in Syria,it is a must watch video and commentary from Alex Krainer - and it looks like Russia and by extension, Iran, moved all liability and expense for Syria to the U.S., Israel and Turkey, which, BTW, support DIFFERENT and fighting with each numerous crazy groups over there. It will be a very serious headache for the U.S., Israel and Turkey for a very long time.

I saw an earlier article on this. It's main argument was that the destabilizing of the area increases the costs and bogging down of NATO and Israeli forces in a lost cause and furthers Russia's overall objectives and there is an opportunity to move troops that are there into Ukraine. However, the one argument against this is the potential loss of the Russian port.
The other part no one is talking about yet to any great extent is Turkey warning Israel to back the fuck off and leave Syria. Ottoman Empire reconstruction vs Greater Israel.

Yes, in theory, port and airfield may be in danger. On the other hand, we have a well known precedent - Guantanamo U.S.base in Cuba, which is there for 60 years or so. At any rate, we have no clear idea about what happens next...

Lots of familiar organization names that are relevant in Syria currently were in the mix then, and the check writers seem to be the same too, with Russia claiming the US was training ISIS members they had in custody and sending them to Ukraine. One of those maps with strings all over it is needed to correlate all the relationships.

But here are a couple more for you. You should read them. It isn't hard to understand that supporting HTS with assets that we have already been paying for could be used for such a time as this. Especially if the drones they are producing are quality (they are), and the ones we have fielded to Ukraine have been rejected by the Ukes as inferior. Why wouldn't the US request that one sponsored army help another one out with arms and training? Similar to what NATO has been doing with Ukraine. There is logic in this. I'm not pointing out good or bad, I'm pointing out strategy.

Going by this highly accurate
information from Wikipedia, it does make me wonder if the Russians listen to any such "Lobby" of their own.Per many Russian language sources, NK "special forces" unit (light infantry, no combat vehicles of any kind) took decisive action in liberation of one of the villages in Kursk region (Russia). It looked like a sort of practice run to me. Per all reports, NKs were super quick and 100% successful, it took them less than 2.5 hours to liberate the area, and 300 ukes stationed there suffered 100% casualty rate with not a single uke military taken as prisoner.
Still no published video/photo evidence publicly available to confirm that, but it does feel like something like that did happen. BTW, there is a rumor that Russia may sign the same kind of mutual military assistance treaty with Iran as Russia currently has with NK.

Sure they were assisted by flying pigs. While i’m sure NK special forces would be ultra capable that does not mean they are superhuman. Any attack on fixed position outside complete surprise will and did(if) result in high casualty count. Surprise? Maybe but i seriously doubt there are entire units of NK soldiers acting autonomously if there are some they are probable embedded in Russian units gathering experience. Also not taking prisoners in not something special as its much easier to simply kill everyone than taking care of those who surrender or (as it was on several videos) appear to surrender.
